SUBSCRIBE: - Beautiful seafront of Marina Del Rey, California. Vic Stefanu, vstefanu@yahoo.com. Marina del Rey is an unincorporated seaside community in Los Angeles County, California, with a marina that is a major boating and water recreation destination of the greater Los Angeles area. The marina is North America's largest man-made small-craft harbor and is home to approximately 5,000 boats.
California, a western U.S. state, stretches from the Mexican border along the Pacific for nearly 900 miles. Its terrain includes cliff-lined beaches, redwood forest, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Central Valley farmland and the Mojave Desert. The city of Los Angeles is the seat of the Hollywood entertainment industry. Hilly San Francisco is known for the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island and cable cars.
The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.

Marina Del Rey (Through My Eyes)
Marina del Rey is an affluent unincorporated seaside community and census-designated place (CDP) in Los Angeles County, California. A Westside locale, the population was 8,866 at the 2010 census. Fisherman's Village offers a view of Marina del Rey's dominant feature, the Marina, the world's largest man-made small craft harbor with 19 marinas with capacity for 5,300 boats and is home port to approximately 6,500 boats. The harbor, the Los Angeles Times said in 1997, is perhaps the county's most valuable resource
Road and bike lanes diet coming to Marina del Rey
Paint markings appear for a pending road diet and the installation of bike lanes on Fiji Way in Marina del Rey, completing a long-missing link in the beachfront Marin Braude bike way from Pacific Palisades to Palos Verdes. And replacing the required to ride single file, which is not supported by state law.

Tour The Life That Can Be Yours | Living In Marina del Rey | Waves MDR Apartments
Sure, you want to enjoy the apartment community that you live in, but when it’s all said and done, the location of where you live defines the experience. That’s why living on the water can be an amazing thing. Welcome to Waves MDR.
We’re loyal to the Pacific Ocean as our community sits on the marina giving you direct access to boating and the breakwater, so bring your paddleboard or kayak. We are also right next to a bike path. Marina Del Rey is no stranger to fun, which is why our location is ideal for explorers looking for good eats at places such as 26 Beach Café, Café Buna, and Cheesecake Factory; and great places to shop, such as Waterside Plaza and the Marina Market. We are also right around the corner from all the great restaurants and shopping on Washington Boulevard at the beach.
Don’t be a stranger to the neighborhood; short drives can take you to other attractions such as the eclectic Venice Beach. We’re just a ten-minute drive to the freeways and a fifteen-minute ride to LAX, which means that there isn’t anything holding you back. When it’s time to come home, our community will be waiting.
We encourage you to live easy with us while taking advantage of things like our community pool and state-of-the-art fitness center. When you want to experience the ultimate in relaxation, make your way to the Zen and BBQ decks to take in the SoCal feeling that words can’t describe.
Your apartment home will feature bamboo floors in the kitchen and living room, with upgraded appliances, smooth quartz countertops, and modern styled cabinetry. When you’re not washing up in the bathroom or hanging in the bedroom, the spacious balcony is the perfect retreat to listen to the seagulls and listen to the waves crash on the rocks. We’re pretty sure your furry friends will enjoy it, too.

Marina Del Rey - Harbor Director Caught Lying Again!
Sorry about the lieing spelling in the title. Harbor Director, Stan Wisniewski, lies about a ratio of boat slip sizes that his department follows that is consistent with the California Dept. of Boating and Waterways.

All The Bad Things about Christopher Columbus:
Awake Show #28 - Today me and my dad are taking our small yacht for a spin in Marina Del Rey, California. He just bought it and refurbished it not so long ago - It's my first time taking her out. Last time I sailed was like 8 years ago...
I was a teen taking sailing lessons back in Klaipeda, Lithuania. I guess there's some things you just don't forget...

LA NOW - Dockweiler RV Park
Dockweiler RV Park is LA County's only recreational vehicle campground on the beach! RV'ers enjoy sunshine, ocean breezes, and a scenic panorama from Malibu to Catalina Island. There's plenty to do and lots to enjoy at Dockweiler RV Park. For starters, this popular, year-round beach campsite offers complete hook-ups, a handy pump-out station, hot showers, and a Laundromat.
Each campsite has its own picnic table and barbecue, so you can enjoy your stay. And, of course, there's the ocean only a few steps from your RV door. You can play volleyball at nearby courts, take a walk on the sand, or even have a romantic fire on the beach. It's all here. This is a great beach for swimming. If you've never tried surf fishing, this is your chance.
Dockweiler RV Park is freeway-close. Take any north-south freeway in L.A. County to the 105 Freeway, and head west. The 105 exits onto Imperial Highway, and the RV Park is at the end of Imperial - on the beach in Playa del Rey (the beach of the Kings).
The RV Park is located at 12001 Vista del Mar, Playa del Rey, CA 90293
