Edinburgh Airport to Fort William in 11 minutes. Rock on...
Here's a bit of a giggle. I set up the camera in the back of the car while on holiday last week and videoed myself driving from Edinburgh Airport to Fort William, which was about 3 hours.... Here's a 3 versions where I do it in 11 minutes, 2 minutes 30 seconds and finally a weird 30 seconds... See if you can watch it all without being sick....

Every Single Day - Lauren Callaghan, On-train Catering Steward
My name is Lauren Callaghan, and I’m based here at Queen Street Station.
My job role is On-train Catering Steward.
My main duties are serving tea coffee, and snacks on-board the train, meeting and greeting passengers as they come on-board, and generally making them feel relaxed and comfortable on-board the train.
I studied hospitality management at college, and then I went on to work in bars and restaurants, and then finally on to work as cabin crew for My Travel and Thomas Cook.
I think past experiences have helped in this role, because I’ve gained a lot more confidence in helping passengers; dealing with disruptive passengers during the job, serving wonderful products to passengers and just generally looking after them.
Every day is different. One day I can be on the train to Edinburgh, and the next day I can be on the train to Fort William or Oban.
My team at Queen Street Station do a fantastic job. Their day starts basically going into the depot, checking all their trolley, making sure they have the tools for the job, and then they board the train, and get themselves prepared to do their service.
The main challenges are, they can be very busy. So you know in your head that when you go on to that train you’re going to be very, very busy. You try to be as upbeat as you can, making your day go the way you want it to go.
Every single day, we have to go out with a smile on our faces because that’s what our customers want and need. And it makes your day better. When you feel good in your job, then you give off a better outlook to what you do.

The Road to Cape Wrath
Well, actually, it's the road *from* Cape Wrath. The weather as we drove towards the famous cape was simply terrible, but by the time we had spent an hour there the sky had cleared, the sun was shining and I filmed most of the trip, so this film is just excerpts from the hour-long journey.
Mind you, nothing had improved the road, which is simply terrible. I don't think the driver got out of second gear once in the twelve miles except for a short stretch of a couple of hundred yards when he ventured into third and our spines paid the penalty of his indecent haste!
Oh, and the ferry across to the start of the road is nothing more than a small motor boat. Not a trip for the faint-hearted.
