In this vlog, we travel to the California State Capitol of Sacramento! Sactown began as a gold rush town in the 1800s and is situated along the Sacramento River. We spend a weekend in this city to learn the history and check out the sights.
Sacramento is notable for being the city where the phenomenal engineering feat of the Transcontinental Railroad connected in the USA. Today, we tour the historic Old Sacramento, the California Railroad Museum, Stanford Mansion, Golden 1 Center which is home of the Sacramento Kings, and dine at the farm to fork restaurants.

Exploring Capitol Park in Sacramento
Come along with my uncle and I as we explore the grounds of California's state capitol in Sacramento. We find many moving memorials to the military and the fallen, placed amid bounds of beautiful trees. I even find a virtual geocache!

Today I had the opportunity to visit the State Capitol in Sacramento California. The Capitol is a working State museum. The four square block park surrounding the Capitol includes many monuments including a Vietnam Memorial and Fire Fighters Memorial. Please join me to see the Capitol inside and out. February 22nd, 2019. This was a great section of the tour. For the first time, I had a guide explain to me the significance of the different colors as well as the history behind the desks and the different portraits and elements that decorate the different legislative Chambers.
