RIFT IN TIME DISCOVERED in Mint HIll North Carolina

In the days before Christmas we were exploring the town of Mint Hill and enjoying the cooler winter weather. However, we surely stumbled into a rift in time, because we suddenly were transported back in time. The Carl J McEwen Historic Village is absolutely worth a visit and will provide a charming stroll back into an earlier time in North Carolina!

Philadelphia Presbyterian West Burying Ground Mint Hill, NC

Best viewed full screen. A video by Care Gravers of one of our favorite places: Philadelphia Presbyterian Church Cemetery WEST in Mint Hill, North Carolina. A sampling of graves, in no particular order. This cemetery is directly across the street from the church, although the church has other burying grounds, one being directly next to the church. This graveyard is well maintained, with lawns kept in control, and efforts to repair broken stones. It could use some cleaning on some of the stones, as can be seen in background markers in the video, but overall is well taken care of.
