澳大利亚不一样，虽然澳大利亚建国时间较短，但在植物园的建设、管理等方面成绩斐然，已跻身于世界植物园的先进行列：其植物园设计、分类水平较高，植物长势茂盛、风光秀美，是城市或风景区的景观标志。
今天旅游目的地依然为大家介绍一个小众但是绝对值得去的地方
位于墨尔本南部的 克蓝本皇家植物园(Royal Botanic Gardens,Cranbourne)
由景观工作室Taylor Cullity Lethlean和植物专家保罗-汤普森设计，由一处旧采石场改造而成。植物园依楼傍水，园内被设计成一个穿越之旅，呈现澳大利亚生态、沙漠和海岸等各类景观。植物园共展示17万棵植物，物种多达1700多种，供公众和科研人员欣赏。在2013年度世界建筑节上，该园凭借繁多的植物种类和精巧的设计，脱颖而出赢得最佳景观奖。顺带一提。这个植物园中所展示的所有植物都是澳大利亚本土植物。
如果你住在墨尔本市区，开车来到Cranbourne 就参观一个植物园，会不会觉的有点不划算。我们当然不会让你觉得不划算。所以我们小哥哥贴心的准备了另外一个去处，距离Cranbourne 仅仅15分钟车程的 Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park（墨尔本月光动物园）

The Artificial Kingdom - Carolyn Dew - Bendigo Art Gallery Exhibition
6 December 2014 - 8 February 2015
Through the inaugural Going Solo program, Carolyn Dew has developed a new body of work for an exhibition exclusive to Bendigo Art Gallery. Throughout her practice, Dew has explored ideas surrounding everyday personal and cultural practices expressed through domestic environments. With this latest photographic series Dew has delved into the creation of memorials in cemeteries in regional Victoria and further afield. Joyful, poignant and at times curious, Dew respectfully captures the permanent and transitional arrangements created by anonymous individuals as they construct environments for loved ones past.
Carolyn Dew is a contemporary photographer, who has studied photography at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the Victorian College for the Arts. Her work has been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in Melbourne and central Victoria.
Early in her career, Carolyn trained and worked as a preservation photographer within the public collections of the State Library of Victoria and Museum Victoria where photography was contextualised as a collective reflection of social and cultural history. After art school she also joined in the artist run collective movement and began curating small thematically linked exhibitions. These formative experiences continue to influence the work she makes and how it is presented.

Our family's trip to Bendigo.
Bendigo is a beautiful town about 2 hours from Melbourne. We took the V/Line train from Southern Cross Station and stayed at The Schaller Studio, which is full of wonderful artworks inspired by artist Mark Schaller.

我的墨尔本之旅2019（1）
这次我们去墨尔本旅行，是旧地重逰了，所以行程安排得比较宽松。在每个点都尽量安排至少住上两个晚上。主要是为了可以更轻松的去玩，不必赶时间，或非得去什么地方或景点。
孩子们是第一次去，所以特地安排到了Twelve Apostles，是我们这次去得最远的地方。没去Phillip Island看企鹅，因为在纽西兰看过了。
注：墨尔本是个充满惊喜，很适合亲子游的地方。也是世界上最适宜居住的城市。

Finding Elvis in Australia. I went looking for Elvis in Australia and found him in a small town called Castlemaine.
Warning: jumpy, bouncy camera movement in this film. Filming while interviewing at the same time is crazy difficult.
The Sony Nex 7 has no flip-up screen so I really can’t see what I’m filming either. Next film will be better I promise!

The changing face of female characters in fairy tales ????????????
Artist and photographer Lorena Carrington has read to her two daughters since they were babies. As they grew older, Lorena got increasingly frustrated with the typical fairy tales and movies on offer.
Recovering stories of courageous girls was a central theme of Lorena’s exhibition at Bendigo Library in 2014, Brave Girls of Fairy Tales.
I went looking for stronger stories to give my daughters the inspiration to go on their own adventures, she says. The old Russian tale of Vasalisa the Brave and Baba Yaga ticks all the boxes, and Lorena centres her exhibition around it.
I chose the story of Vasalisa, in part, just because it’s a great story. It’s got adventure, it’s got excitement, it’s got death.
She laughs, It’s even got flaming skulls!
Each artwork offers a way into the story, and reflects how a story can be interpreted in different ways.
The slides and photographs are the result of Lorena transforming forty individual macro photographs. Toadstools, sticks, leaves and pinecones are just some of the things she shot in her Castlemaine backyard, local streets, Kalimna Forest and a nearby pine forest.
Lorena then montaged these photos into silhouettes for the glass slides, and made a composite photo that sits alongside the story excerpt in a beautiful red velvet book. The photographs in the slideshow above are from Lorena’s exhibition, and are also examples of her general artwork around fairytales.
