Cautley Spout
This large waterfall near Sedbergh froze in December 2010. One of the coldest winters for many years. An ascent of this icefall is an ambition of many climbers in the North West. Not technically hard, but a greta climb!

MTB Sedbergh, Bluecaster, Uldale, Cautley Spout - Yorkshire Dales mountain biking
#yorkshiredales #mtb #sedbergh
An enjoyable ride in the Yorkshire Dales starting from the small town of Sedbergh. Conditions on the ground were wet and boggy as the area must have had some significant downfalls in recent weeks, though it was still good fun and was exactly what I needed.
The scenery is lovely in this part of the Dales and the ride passes England's highest waterfall, making for a cracking day out.
