[한국향토문화전자대전] 창원컨벤션센터 (Changwon Exhibition Convention Center)
창원시 대원동에 있는 창원컨벤션센터(CECO)는 경남의 특화산업인 기계, 조선, 항공, 로봇, 자동차 부품 등의 상업전문전시장으로 2005년 개관하였다. 6층 규모의 건물에 옥내 전시장과 옥외 전시장·회의실·컨벤션홀·중소기업지원센터 등으로 이루어져 있으며 건물의 외관은 터빈 모습으로 기계 산업 도시 이미지를 현대적 감각으로 형상화하였고, 지붕은 한국의 전통미를 살려 우아한 곡선으로 표현하였다.

2014 창원 세계아동문학대회 개막

2014'세계아동문학대회'창원컨벤션에서 개막

한국아동문학연구센터와 아동문학학회 등이 공동 주최하는 '2014 세계아동문학대회'가 8일 오후 경남 창원시에서 막이 올랐다.

9일 오전 창원컨벤션센터에서 열리는 공식 개회식에 앞서 이날 창원호텔에서 세계 각국의 아동문학가, 아동문학 연구자들이 참석한 가운데 세계아동문학 대표자 회의, 아시아학회 대표자회의가 열렸다.

이번 대회에는 마비스 라이머 국제아동문학학회(IRSCL, 캐나다) 회장, 영화 '미세스 다웃파이어'의 원작자인 앤 파인(영국), 17개국에 번역, 출간된 '율리시스 무어'의 작가인 피에르도메니코 바칼라리오(이탈리아) 등 16개국에서 500여명이 참석한다.

라이머 IRSCL 회장은 9일 개회식에서 '어린이에게 꿈을 심어주는 문학'을 주제로 기조강연을 한다. 이들은 12일까지 열리는 대회 기간 60여편의 논문을 발표할 예정이다.

참석자들은 지역 대학교와 도서관, 평생교육센터 등지에서 열리는 '찾아가는 문학특강' 강연자로 나서 직접 어린이들과도 만난다.

부대행사로는 세계아동문학 도서전, 아시아 동시화전, 사진으로 보는 한국아동문학 100년사, 탄생 100주년을 맞는 '오빠 생각'의 작가 최순애 이원수 문학 그림전 등이 개최된다.

한국, 중국, 일본, 대만 등 4개국은 1990년부터 2년에 한번씩 아시아문학대회를 열고 있다. 한국에서 아시아문학대회가 열릴 때에는 '세계아동문학대회'로 규모를 확대해 행사가 진행된다.

On the way here, there were a lot of places which are beautiful and look cool, so it was really good. I came up here in the direction of Seoul, and it was good because it's much closer than going down to the south and there are a lot of things I can enjoy.

K-pop band NCT 127 attends Hong Kong Asian Pop Music Festival

(22 Mar 2019) K-POP BAND NCT 127 ATTEND HONG KONG ASIAN POP MUSIC FESTIVAL
Some of the biggest names in Asian music - including the likes of South Korea’s NCT 127 and Japanese rocker Gackt - have gathered in Hong Kong for the Hong Kong Asian-Pop Music Festival.
Only nine members of the 10-piece NCT 127 showed up for the event at the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong.
They spoke to media backstage after the event, and told reporters how they think their English vocabulary has improved since they released English language versions of their songs late last year.
NCT 127 is the second breakaway of boyband NCT.  The unit currently consists of 10 performers - Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Doyoung, Yuta, Jaehyun, Win Win, Jungwoo, Mark, and Haechan.
