Travel bugs, if you're ever in South Thailand, I recommend going straight to Koh Phi Phi Islands. Everything was breathtaking - it was unreal!! Here's the list of places we visited and a bit more about them. Koh Phi Phi Islands consists of 6 islands, some points of interest include:
-Maya Bay: This was actually filmed in a movie starring Leonardo Dicaprio! Jungles, caves, soft sand, and gorgeous cliffs.
-Phileh Cove or The Lagoon: Slow cruise through towering cliffs.
-Viking Cave: no longer open but famous for the collection of bird's nests for healing purposes.
-Monkey Beach: it was high tide so we couldn't see the beach but you can see the monkeys playing around, climbing the cliffs! Of course they are a bit naughty ;)
-Loh Lana or Nui Bay: we actually stopped here to snorkel for a bit, it has beautiful coves & reefs!
-Paradise Private Bay: stunning, relaxing island with a nice restaurant situated right by the beach. Views and food for days!

Phuket: Thailand Travel and Tour Guide
Press play on our video about Thailand travel to get to know Phuket, the country’s largest island.
Explore with us as we take on this enchanting paradise, which dazzles with emerald water and soft sand. Teeming with deserted beaches and intriguing culture, Phuket belongs at the top of your travel itinerary.
The beaches are certainly the main attraction, and as soon as you catch a glimpse of the shore, you’ll understand why. Whether you’re in the mood for snorkeling off the coast or simply worshipping the sun from the shore, this is the place to do it. Stick to the tourist favorites, including Patong, Kata, and Banana Beach, or hop in a long-tail boat to cruise to the other nearby islands. You’ll find crowded shores with a nightlife scene in beach towns like Patong, but also set aside time to escape to more secluded stretches such as Paradise Beach and Laem Singh Beach.
Make time for some peace and quiet during your Phuket adventure. This island takes great pride in its religion and history, and the temples are a great place to get a sense of the region’s spirituality. With 29 Buddhist temples scattered around the island, you have plenty to choose from. Search for the massive golden Buddha statue at Wat Khao Rang, or venture over to Wat Srisoonthorn to see the sleeping Buddha. From the Phuket Big Buddha to the Wat Phra Thong, you’ll get your fair share of serenity while you’re in town.
If you’re ready to make some noise after visiting the silent temples, discover Phuket nightlife. Tourists tend to flock to Bangla Road in Patong, where the party never stops. From night markets to gogo bars, you’ll find entertainment at every hour in this vibrant part of town. Prefer to catch some elaborate performances instead? The dazzling Phuket FantaSea is certainly one of the best things to do in Phuket, as it boasts trapeze artists, carnival rides, and stage productions. Dubbed a cultural theme park, FantaSea offers everything, including restaurants, shops, arcades, and theater shows.
Take a dip in the inviting waters or join one of the Phuket tours. Whether your idea of a vacation is getting a little R&R at the seaside or dabbling in the region’s culture, you can do both—and more—on your next trip to this picturesque island.

Patong Beach - City Video Guide
Patong Beach, located on the coastline of Phuket, is the place to go for a lively vacation that doesn’t slow down just because the sun sets.
By day, Patong Beach is a spectacular place to both immerse yourself in stunning natural landscapes and explore a vibrant city. As it features developed land and remarkably beautiful waters and jungles, a Patong Beach tour truly offers the best of both worlds. Go walking or running on the white sandy beaches, or splash into the turquoise Andaman Sea. Rent diving equipment to check out the coastal reefs, or hire a small boat to do some fishing. Be sure to allot at least one day to reclining on the beach, watching the sun drift by from beneath an umbrella.
Once you go inland, however, your Patong Beach sightseeing shifts away from the pristine natural territory and into the pulsing nightlife of a city that never sleeps. The streets are jammed with bars, restaurants, and dance clubs, and you can find some serious bargains in the shopping and market districts. No matter what time of year you visit, you’ll run into travelers from around the world who have come to enjoy the magic and mystery that Patong Beach offers.
What will you do in Patong Beach?

Phuket is Thailand’s largest island and it’s known for its beaches, incredible views and it’s nightlife. Today I am going to be showing you Phuket’s top attractions.
There are over 25 Buddhist temples on the island and Wat Chalong is the most famous. It’s a three story temple and it’s well known because it houses a bone relic of the Buddha.
Here we are at Phuket’s big Buddha. This Buddha measures 45 meters in height and looks over southern Phuket. From most of southern Phuket you can see the Buddha and as you can see the complex has not been completed yet. What ever you buy at the complex goes towards funding the completion of the Buddha.
Thalang Road the most famous street in Phuket town. They recently applied for UNESCO World Heritage recognition. The street is made up of seno Portugues mansions and shop houses which have been rebuilt, re-painted and remodeled. On the ground level their cafes, restaurants and boutiques.
Patong Beach is the most touristic beach on the island. The beach has cafes, watersport activities and restaurants. It is a beautiful beach so you have to see it when in Phuket!
Another beautiful beach is Surin Beach, which is only a 15 minute drive north of Patong Beach. This is the perfect place to get a quite lunch, take a dip or go snorkeling.
Lastly we have Bang Tao Beach, this is a more family oriented beach, its less touristy and more relaxing. Phuket has many more beaches not just these three. The western coast is easier for swimming and the eastern coast tends to be more muddy.
We head out to Phang Nga Bay with Captain Mark’s Alternative tours. We signed on for a full day speed boat tour. First stop is Ko Lao Landing island to visit paradise beach. Next up we visit a 1000 year old bodhi tree.
We then head to Koh Panyi Village, a 1000 person muslim village. The families have been there for over two hundred years. Lastly we visit Panak Island to visit a dark cave, secret lagoons and a haunted pirates cave.
That was things to see and do in Phuket, Thailand! Comment below if you have been or want to go!

TRIP TO THAILAND, BANGKOK CITY, EXPLORING BANGKOK, BEST THAI BEACHES
TRIP TO THAILAND, BANGKOK CITY, EXPLORING BANGKOK, BEST THAI BEACHES
Bangkok (English pronunciation: /ˈbæŋkɒk/) is the capital and most populous city of Thailand. It is known in Thai as Krung Thep Maha Nakhon (กรุงเทพมหานคร, pronounced [krūŋ tʰêːp mahǎː nákʰɔ̄ːn] ( listen)) or simply About this sound Krung Thep (help·info). The city occupies 1,568.7 square kilometres (605.7 sq mi) in the Chao Phraya River delta in Central Thailand, and has a population of over 8 million, or 12.6 percent of the country's population. Over 14 million people (22.2 percent) live within the surrounding Bangkok Metropolitan Region, making Bangkok an extreme primate city, dwarfing Thailand's other urban centres in terms of importance.
Bangkok traces its roots to a small trading post during the Ayutthaya Kingdom in the 15th century, which eventually grew in size and became the site of two capital cities: Thonburi in 1768 and Rattanakosin in 1782. Bangkok was at the heart of Siam's (as Thailand used to be known) modernization, during the later 19th century, as the country faced pressures from the West. The city was the centre of Thailand's political struggles, throughout the 20th century, as the country abolished absolute monarchy, adopted constitutional rule and underwent numerous coups and several uprisings. The city grew rapidly during the 1960s through the 1980s and now exerts a significant impact among Thailand's politics, economy, education, media and modern society.
The Asian investment boom in the 1980s and 1990s led many multinational corporations to locate their regional headquarters in Bangkok. The city is now a major regional force in finance and business. It is an international hub for transport and health care, and has emerged as a regional centre for the arts, fashion and entertainment. The city is well known for its vibrant street life and cultural landmarks, as well as its notorious red-light districts. The historic Grand Palace and Buddhist temples including Wat Arun and Wat Pho stand in contrast with other tourist attractions such as the nightlife scenes of Khaosan Road and Patpong. Bangkok is among the world's top tourist destinations. It is named the most visited city in MasterCard's Global Destination Cities Index, and was named World's Best City for four consecutive years by Travel + Leisure magazine.
Bangkok's rapid growth amidst little urban planning and regulation has resulted in a haphazard cityscape and inadequate infrastructure systems. Limited roads, despite an extensive expressway network, together with substantial private car usage, have resulted in chronic and crippling traffic congestion. This in turn caused severe air pollution in the 1990s. The city has since turned to public transport in an attempt to solve this major problem. Four rapid transit lines are now in operation, with more systems under construction or planned by the national government and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
The Phi Phi Islands (Thai: หมู่เกาะพีพี, rtgs: Mu Ko Phiphi, pronounced [mùː kɔ̀ʔ pʰīː.pʰīː]) are in Thailand, between the large island of Phuket and the west Strait of Malacca coast of the mainland. The islands are administratively part of Krabi province. Ko Phi Phi Don (ko (Thai: เกาะ) meaning island in the Thai language) is the largest island of the group, and is the most populated island of the group, although the beaches of the second largest island, Ko Phi Phi Lee (or Ko Phi Phi Leh), are visited by many people as well. The rest of the islands in the group, including Bida Nok, Bida Noi, and Bamboo Island (Ko Mai Phai), are not much more than large limestone rocks jutting out of the sea.
Ko Phi Phi was devastated by the Indian Ocean tsunami

Paradise Found - Bangkok To Hua Hin Thailand (Luxury Hua Hin Hotel Beach Resort)
Today we are in Hua Hin (หัวหิน). We travelled from Bangkok to Hua Hin Thailand, which took around 4 hours in the mini van from Mo Chit station costing us 180 baht each ($5.60 USD)
Once a quiet fishing village, its grown into a fashionable escape for tourists and residents of Bangkok. Situated in the southern Thai province of Prachuap Khiri Khan, Hua Hin is popular for it's beach, markets, luxury high end hotels, and food.
We stayed at Hua Hin Evason Resort and really enjoyed our stay, the pool is overlooking the beach, and the breakfast was incredible.

Part of the Khao Laem Ya–Mu Koh Samet National Park, all visitors will be charged an entry fee once on the island (the main pier is Na Dan). Ferries depart from Ban Phe Pier on an hourly basis and drop tourists off at major beaches. Most high-end resorts offer boat transfer services, which leave from a private pier. It’s wise to inquire beforehand.
Once on the island, your transport options are limited to either songtaews (passenger-carrying diesel pick-up trucks) or speedboat rides between major beaches. Renting a motorbike is possible but not recommended as more than half of the roads are unpaved and are extremely narrow and hilly.
Koh Samet - Hotell Och Reseguide

Loy Krathong Lifestyle | Festival of Light | Lumpini Park | Pray to Water Goddess Bangkok, Thailand
Loi Krathong, The Festival of Light, celebrated every year all through the Kingdom of Thailand on the night of the full moon of the twelfth month in the conventional Thai lunar schedule. In the Western schedule this typically falls in the period of November, after rainy season. The festival appears to be similar to Ganesh Chaturthi or Durga Puja festival of India. People make Krathong and float in water bodies.
It is great to observe that People, especially the youth are getting conscious of using Bio Degradable or Organic Krathong made out of with Bread and ice cream cones with natural colors. The Idea of Celebrating the festival is to Thank Water Goddess for abundance of Water and also seek for forgiveness for polluting the water. Traditionally people use to float their old clothes, nail cuttings or hair strands with a view of getting separated from negatives energies of past. But in cities now, people do not follow much. May be still in interior regions of Bangkok.
The good thing to watch is that people from all diversities have come to celebrate this festival.

THAILAND DIARIES / Full Moon Party & Bangkok
It feels so scary getting old.. Read my blog to know more about all of these moments:
This vlog, this one is probably my favorite - which is ironic for it being the last one. But the last couple days of our trip were so wild, so free, we are so young. And the Full Moon Party, turning 21 there and then going to Bangkok where we met people each day who felt like best friends.. It was such a beautiful few days experiencing it all with strangers from every corner of the world. For all the people who couldn't speak the same language we communicated with dance battles, hugs, laughs and tears. It taught me the real reason people travel.
The full moon party takes place on the small island of Ko Phagnan and if you ever have the chance to go there or Khao San Road in Bangkok, please do. Tell them I miss them..
Now.. To move on to the next series: Iceland.
