China 2018 Family Trip Video - Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an, Chengdu, Yangshuo, Hong Kong, Disney!
In July 2018, our family spent two weeks on a whirlwind trip across China. We flew into Shanghai and traveled to Beijing, Xi'an, Chengdu, Yangshuo, and Hong Kong. We visited the Great Wall, saw amazing acrobats and adorable pandas, marveled at the Terra Cotta Warriors, and drank in the tranquil rural landscapes. Along the way we also crossed two parks off of our Every Disney Park bucket list. Watch in HD!

China Tours - 12 Days China & Hong Kong
The exciting 12-day journey starts in Capital Beijing to discover its imperial treasures. We walk on the Great Wall of China, tour the Forbidden City, roam in the Summer Palace, and marvel at the Temple of Heaven. We have a home-cooked lunch at a local family home, we savor the famous Peking Duck, we tour the disappearing Old Beijing on a pedicab...
We continue our journey to China's heartland at the ancient Xian to admire the 7,000 life-sized Terra-cotta Warriors and the mausoleum of Emperor Qinshihuangdi. We learn the history of China, sample the royal Dumpling Banquet, and reinvent our dream of China's glorious Tang Dynasty watching a stage show.
We tour the futurist Shanghai and experience the life and sounds of this vibrant metropolis—this is the future of China! We make a side trip to the canal towns of Suzhou and Tongli, to visit their classic gardens, silk and embroidery.
Your trip ends in Hong Kong, a fascinating city of contrasts—a place where East meets West.
For the first 9 days, this tour follows the same itinerary of our 10-Day China's Golden Triangle tour.

There are multi-storied buses and trams carrying the passengers in the busy inner city. Day trip to Shenzhen from Hong Kong + train trip +visa application
Shenzhen is an awesome energy packed place with shopping bazaars and malls everywhere you turn. If you are looking for inexpensive and bargain shopping while your staying in Hong Kong then Shenzhen is the place to go !!
Visa on arrival cost was 168 Yuan (Chinese money - must be paid in Yuan - not hong kong dollar). (i have an Australian passport but cost does not vary that much). Most Hong Kong ATMS give RMB (Yuan).
