⁴ᴷ⁵⁰ Walking Moscow: Moscow Center - from Chistye Prudy Metro St. to Red Square & Nikolskaya Street
Google Maps Route:
We walk from the Chistye Prudy Metro Station through the Myasnitskaya Ulitsa (Street). Then we turn left to the Krivokolennyy Pereulok (Lane), Armyanskiy Pereulok (Lane), Starosadskiy Pereulok (Lane). After that we turn right to the Ulitsa Zabelina (Street), walk through the Solyanskiy Proyezd (DriveWay), Ulitsa Varvarka (Street) and we end our walk on the Red Square and Nikolskaya Street.
When we walk through the Myasnitskaya Ulitsa (Street) we see beautiful building Chayniy Dom (Tea House) where you can buy many interesting sorts of coffee and tea.
When we walk through the Armyanskiy Pereulok (Lane) we can see Embassy of Armenia.
And after that we across Pokrovka Street and continue our walk through the Starosadskiy Pereulok (Lane) where we can see beautiful Cathedral that named St. Peter’s and Paul’s Cathedral - we walk around this building and show you architecture of it.
A little later we can see more cathedrals like Khram Svyatogo Ravnoapostol'nogo Knyazya Vladimira V Starykh Sadakh and Ioanno-Predtechenskiy Zhenskiy Monastyr'.
After that we continue our walk through the Ulitsa Varvarka (Street) near the Zaryadye Park and see many beautiful buildings and we see Znamenskiy Monastyr' and Old English Court.
After that we turn to the Red Square and see beautiful St. Basil's Cathedral and beautiful market building with lights, that named GUM.

Мы идем от станции метро «Чистые пруды» через Мясницкую улицу. Затем поворачиваем налево на Кривоколенный переулок, Армянский переулок, Старосадский переулок. После этого мы поворачиваем направо на улицу Забелина, идем через Солянский проезд, улицу Варварка и заканчиваем прогулку по Красной площади и Никольской улице.
Прогуливаясь по Мясницкой улице, мы видим красивое здание Чайный дом, где можно купить много интересных сортов кофе и чая.
Когда мы идем через Армянский переулок, мы видим Посольство Армении.
И после этого мы переходим через улицу Покровка и продолжаем нашу прогулку по Старосадскому переулку, где мы можем видеть красивый собор, который называется «Евангелическо-лютеранский кафедральный собор Святых Петра и Павла», мы прогуливаемся вокруг него и показываем вам его архитектуру.
Чуть позже мы можем увидеть также храмы: Храм Святого Равноапостольного Князя Владимира В Старых Садах и Иоанно-Предтеченский Женский Монастырь.
После этого мы продолжаем нашу прогулку по Улице Варварка (около Парка Зарядье) и видим множество красивых зданий, таких как Знаменский монастырь и Старый английский двор.
После этого мы поворачиваем на Красную Площадь и видим красивый «Храм Василия Блаженного» и красивое супермаркет здание с огнями, которое называется ГУМ.

We walk from Chistye Prudy Metro Station through Turgenevskaya Ploshchad' (Square). And we can see there V. G. Shukhov Monument. After that we turn on the Pereulok Frolov (Alleyway) and see there very beautiful building and Et Cetera Drama Theater. After that we can see Library.
We continue our walk through Bobrov Pereulok (Alleyway) and turn back to Sretensky Blvd. After that we walk through Ulitsa Bol'shaya Lubyanka (Street) and we can see there The Main House of the Estate Orlova-Denisova, Ploshchad' Vorovskogo (Square), Dokhodnyy Dom Strakhovogo Obshchestva (Profitable House of the Insurance Company) and of course we see the Tsentral'nyy Detskiy Magazin (Central Children's Store) at the end of street.
We turn left on the Lubyanskiy Proyezd (Drive) and we see there very beautiful The Polytechnic Museum, which is almost restored. We walk around this building through Novaya Ploshchad' (Square) and see other beautiful buildings, like Khram Svyatogo Apostola Ioanna Bogoslova Pod Vyazom (Church of St. Apostle John the Evangelist Under the Elm) and others.
And we end our walk on the Ploshchad' Il'inskiye Vorota when are watching on the The Politechnic Museum.

Мы идем от Станции Метро «Чистые Пруды» через Тургеневскую Площадь. И мы видим там Памятник В. Г. Шухову. После этого поворачиваем на Фролов Переулок и видим там очень красивое здание и драматический театр Et Cetera. После этого мы видим библиотеку.
Мы продолжаем прогулку по Боброву Переулку и возвращаемся на Сретенский Бульвар. После этого мы идем через Улицу Большая Лубянка и видим там Главный Дом Усадьбы Орлова-Денисова, Площадь Воровского, Доходный Дом Страхового Общества и, конечно же, мы видим Центральный Детский Магазин в конце улицы.
Мы поворачиваем налево на Лубянский Проезд и видим там очень красивый Политехнический Музей, который почти отреставрирован. Мы проходим вокруг этого здания через Новую Площадь и видим другие прекрасные здания, такие как Храм Святого Апостола Иоанна Богослова Под Вязом (Храм святого апостола Иоанна Богослова под вязом) и другие.
И мы заканчиваем нашу прогулку на Площади Ильинские ворота, когда смотрим на Политехнический Музей.

I originally planned to make another video about Christmas in Moscow using this as a background, but while editing the video it became clear to me that this video deserves to be left without any commentary ruining the beauty. Moscow is an incredible, snowy, winter wonderland and I hope this enables everyone to have a little taste of what they're missing in Moscow!

Chistye Prudy (Clean ponds) is a pond in central Moscow, it is one of the old city districts where a lot of interesting buildings are situated. Besides old buildings in this video there is a monument to young Vladimir Lenin and the Church of Archangel Gabriel also known as Menshikov Tower.

We begin our walk from Krasnye Vorota Metro Station. We go out from Metro Station and see Independent Professional Pension Fund Building. We cross Garden Ring road and walk to another way out of Krasnye Vorota Metro Station.
Then we walk through Myasnitskiy Proyezd (Passage), and walk to Myasnitskaya Ulitsa (Street).
After that we turn left on Malyy Khariton'yevskiy Pereulok (Alleyway) and we can see there very beautiful building Rossiyskaya akademiya nauk Institut mashinovedeniya im. A. A. Blagonravova (Institute of Engineering A. A. Blagonravova RAS).
We continue our walk and see Dvorets Brakosochetaniya №1 (Wedding Palace № 1), where young married couple leave the building and friends congratulate them!
We turn left on Bol'shoy Khariton'yevskiy Pereulok (Alleyway) and after that turn right on Malyy Kozlovskiy Pereulok (Alleyway) and after that turn right adain on Furmannyy Pereulok (Alleyway) to see Apollinary Vasnetsov Memorial Flat.
After that we turn left on Ulitsa Chaplygina (Street) and see Professional'nyy, Negosudarstvennyy Pensionnyy Fond (Professional, non-state pension fund) and after that turn left on Ulitsa Mashkova (Street) and we see the Dom-Yaytso (Egg House).
We turn back to the Ulitsa Chaplygina (Street), see Moskovskaya Teatral'naya Shkola Olega Tabakova (Moscow Theater School of Oleg Tabakov) and walk till Pokrovka Street.
After that we turn to the Belgorodskiy Proyezd (Passage) and see very beautiful Biblioteka Im. F.m. Dostoyevskogo (Library named after F.M. Dostoevsky).
We continue our walk near Chistye Prudy Clean Pounds, walk through the Monument to the Kazakh Poet Abay Kunanbayev and end our walk on the Chistye Prudy Metro Station near the Monument to Alexander Griboyedov.

Мы начинаем нашу прогулку от Станции Метро Красные Ворота. Выходим из метро и видим здание Профессионального Независимого Пенсионного Фонда. Мы пересекаем Садовое кольцо и идем к другому выходу из Станции Метро Красные Ворота.
Затем мы идем по Мясницкому Проезду и идем до Мясницкой Улицы.
После этого мы поворачиваем налево на Малый Харитоньевский Переулок и видим там очень красивое здание Институт машиноведения им. А. А. Благонравова РАН.
Продолжаем прогулку и видим Дворец Бракосочетания №1, откуда выходят молодожены, а друзья их поздравляют!
Мы поворачиваем налево на Большой Харитоньевский Переулок, а затем поворачиваем направо на Малый Козловский Переулок и после этого поворачиваем направо на Фурманный Переулок, чтобы увидеть Мемориальный Музей-квартиру Васнецова А.М..
После этого мы поворачиваем налево на Улицу Чаплыгина и видим Профессиональный, Негосударственный Пенсионный Фонд, а затем поворачиваем налево на Улицу Машкова и видим Дом-Яйцо.
Возвращаемся на Улицу Чаплыгина, видим Московскую театральную школу Олега Табакова и идем до Улицы Покровки.
После этого поворачиваем на Белгородский Проезд и видим очень красивую Библиотеку имени Ф.М. Достоевского.
Мы продолжаем нашу прогулку возле Чистых Прудов, проходим через Памятник Казахскому Поэту Абаю Кунанбаеву и заканчиваем прогулку на Станции Метро Чистые пруды возле Памятника А.С. Грибоедову.
