This is my Day 4 of Uttarakhand Safar where I started from Ukhimath to reach our destination Chopta.
The road was damn good. The Journey was so mesmerising.
Total Kms done were only 30 Kms.
Whole Day 4 Video was too long, that's why divided it into 2 parts.

Chandrashila trek with Chopta Tungnath starting from Haridwar. Sari is the base camp of the trek from where you will be easily connected to Deorital located at a height of about 2438 meters. Deorital trek would amuse you definitely, for it is the most visited lake with enthralling sights around it and then you will also be getting the mind-blowing sunset views from Chaukhamba Peak on the way. Chopta as a destination is reverberating, because of the largely vivacious patches of pine, oaks and rhododendron are quite alluring to watch. From 3000 meters height above sea level, one will be entertained by the visibility of Himalayan ranges pretty closer.
Chopta to Tungnath would also be an exciting trekking trip since the short trek has tricky trails to make you happy as well as anxious. The holy Tungnath temple is situated at 3400 meters above sea level. It is the right space to experience peace of mind and even do meditation to rejuvenate yourself by absorbing the pure radiance from the sun coming in between the swaying trees. Chandrashila Summit trek will also be happening on the same day that is almost near to Tungnath but at a height of about 3600 meters. Kedar, Chaukhamba and some of the other major peaks come closer to you while you are on the top portion of Chandrashila. Golden-breasted eagles are a normal sight from the summit.
This trek is comparatively easy making it suitable for beginners and also for children. Yet, advanced trekkers would also find it quite interesting passing by the thick green forests and watching the snow-clad peaks at the distance. Normal fitness is only necessity to do this trek and those who love nature deeply would get a feast to their eyes with this closer to nature trek and the sights will be varying depending on the season you choose.
On the last day of the trek, you will be travelling back to Haridwar watching the beautiful Alakananda and other rivers. While you take this trekking expedition, you will be walking for 6-7 hours on an average every day but it will be really smooth and soothing for your body and mind, truly.

Route Followed : Delhi Ghaziabad Kotdwar Lansdowne Pauri Srinagar Rudraprayag Chopta Tungnath.
There are 2 main route for Chopta From Delhi Via lansdowne-Pauri-Srinagar or Via Rishikesh-Srinagar.
Best route is Via Pauri,here roads are smooth,full of curves and surroundings are decorated with beautiful Pine forests, deep green valleys. which gives you a amazing experience.

Omkareshwar Temple Ukhimath, or Omkareshwar Pith is an ancient Hindu temple present in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. It houses the deities Kedarnath and Madmaheshwar during winters (November- April), when the temples of Kedarnath and Madmaheshwar remain closed. It is present at an elevation of 1300 metres.
Ukhimath or Okhimath has many other ancient temples dedicated to several Gods and Goddesses such as Usha, Shiva, Aniruddha, Parvati and Mandhata. Mainly the head priests of Kedarnath known as Rawals live in the town. It is a part of the Char Dham Yatra tour destinations within Uttarakhand.

Highlights-
Deoria Tal is a lake about 3 km from the villages of Mastura and Sari on the Ukhimath-Chopta road in Uttarakhand. At an altitude of 2,438 meters, it has heavily wooded, lush green surroundings with snow-covered mountains in the backdrop.
Tungnath-Tungnath is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples located in the mountain range of Tunganath in Rudraprayag district, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The Tunganath mountains form the Mandakini and Alaknanda river valleys.
Chopta-Chopta is a small region of meadows and evergreen forest area which is a part of kedarnath wildlife sanctuary located in Uttarakhand state, India and a base for trekking to Tungnath, third temple of Panch Kedar, which lies 3.5 kilometres away.

Best time to visit---Chopta is called the mini Switzerland of India.Due to snow beauty.So end of september or october is the right time to enjoy.If anyone want to thrill his journey he may choose rainy season i.e. auguest.At that time one can enjoy uncountable no of waterfalls through the journey.But that can be dangerous as many land slide occurs during monsoon.

Activities in Chopta
Trekking: The trek route to Chandrashila commences at Chopta and involves easy to medium grade trekking. The enthralling treks take some through enchanting meadows, hushed hamlets, and conifers and oak forests. In winter, the trekking route is covered in snow. You can also trek to Devariyatal, Bisurital or induldge in a 4-5 days trekking expedition in Chopta as well.
Photography: Chopta offers mesmerizing view of the undulating valleys and one cannot resist capturing the majestic snow covered peak with their camera. The 360 degree panorama one witnesses form the Chandrashila summit is one of the reasons to make Chandrashila one of the best spot to capture snow capped mountains.
Camping: Being situated enroute to Tungnath, Chopta is an ideal place to camp and enjoy the beauty of nature. Camping is an amazing experience to have with family and friends when you are surrounded in the lap of nature.
Bird Watching: Chopta has a great forest line which has hundreds of different speicies of bird. Bird watchers from all around the globe can visit Chopta and explore. Ideal season for bird watching is from Feb to April.
