Chumash Indian Museum in Thousand Oaks (2009)
We stopped by the Chumash Indian Museum in the Lang Ranch section of Thousand Oaks today and I took this quick video of the entrance and part of the museum. The kids immediately found interest in the exhibits.
Even more impressive is the outdoor areas of surrounding Oakbrook Regional Park and the Chumash village about 1/2 mile behind the museum.
(5/27/19 NOTE: The Chumash village was destroyed as a result of the Woolsey Fire of November 2018. Oakbrook Regional Park has been closed as a result since then.)
