MR Drone Croatia - Church of Blessed Virgin Mary in Dol, Brač
Župna crkva Očišćenja Blažene Djevice Marije, u Dolu na Braču, izgrađena je u razdoblju od 1862. do 1887. godine. Crkva čuva nekoliko križeva, a najveći je Dolski Isukrst koji predstavlja tijelo Isusa u prirodnoj veličini. To je jedna od nekoliko crkava u Dolu, koji je sa svega stotinjak stanovnika prava oaza za turiste, posebno poklonike pješačenja i biciklizma. :)
The parish church of the cleansing of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Dol on the island of Brač, was built in the period from 1862 to 1887. The church keeps a number of crosses, and the biggest is Jesus Christ of Dol that represents the body of Jesus in a life-size. It is one of the few churches in Dol, which has only a hundred people living there. It is a real oasis for tourists, especially lovers of hiking and biking. :)

Windsor Castle is a royal residence at Windsor in the English county of Berkshire. It is notable for its long association with the English and later British royal family and for its architecture.
The original castle was built in the 11th century after the Norman invasion of England by William the Conqueror. Since the time of Henry I, it has been used by the reigning monarch and is the longest-occupied palace in Europe. The castle's lavish early 19th-century State Apartments were described by the art historian Hugh Roberts as a superb and unrivalled sequence of rooms widely regarded as the finest and most complete expression of later Georgian taste. Inside the castle walls is the 15th-century St George's Chapel, considered by the historian John Martin Robinson to be one of the supreme achievements of English Perpendicular Gothic design.
Originally designed to protect Norman dominance around the outskirts of London and oversee a strategically important part of the River Thames, Windsor Castle was built as a motte-and-bailey, with three wards surrounding a central mound. Gradually replaced with stone fortifications, the castle withstood a prolonged siege during the First Barons' War at the start of the 13th century. Henry III built a luxurious royal palace within the castle during the middle of the century, and Edward III went further, rebuilding the palace to make an even grander set of buildings in what would become the most expensive secular building project of the entire Middle Ages in England. Edward's core design lasted through the Tudor period, during which Henry VIII and Elizabeth I made increasing use of the castle as a royal court and centre for diplomatic entertainment.
Windsor Castle was used as a refuge by the royal family during the Luftwaffe bombing campaigns of the Second World War and survived a fire in 1992. It is a popular tourist attraction, a venue for hosting state visits, and the preferred weekend home of Elizabeth II.

Medjugorje is a town located in the Herzegovina region of Bosnia and Herzegovina, around 25 km (16 mi) southwest of Mostar and close to the border of Croatia. Na središnjem trgu Škripa na Braču nalazi se župna crkva sv. Jelene iz 18. stoljeća, u kojoj se može vidjeti nekoliko vrijednih slika Palme Mlađeg, kao i par drvenih oltara. Prema pučkoj legendi, vjeruje se da je sv. Jelena, majka cara Konstantina, rođena Bračanka.
U neposrednoj blizini je i dvorac Cerinić iz 16. stoljeća. Dvorac je četvrtastog oblika s obrambenim rubnim kulama u čijim prostorima možete isprobati te kupiti domaće maslinovo ulje ili vino, dok mu zidine krase grmovi kapra.
In the central sqaure of Škrip, there is the parish church of St. Helen from 18th century. There you can see some valuable painting by Palma Mlađi, as wll as the pair of wooden altars. It is believed that St. Helena, the mother of empereor Constantine, was born on Brač.
Near to the church, there is the Cerinić castle from the 16th century. The castle is rectangular in shape with a defensive edge towers in whose territory you can try and buy homemade olive oil and vine, while its walls adorned with caper bushes.
