Новый сериал посвящен краткой истории и архитектуре зданий и сооружений народов восточной Европы. Начинается этот сериал с государственного образования восточных славян и руссов. Столицей первого русского государства был Киев. Одним из древних представителей истории и архитектуры русского государства является Киево -Печерская лавра .
Киево-Печерская лавра ― православный мужской монастырь, древнейший и один из самых значительных монастырей на Руси. Впервые пещеры лавры упоминаются в «Повести временных лет» преподобного Нестора Летописца (нач. XII в.).

The new series devoted to a brief history and the architecture of buildings and structures of the peoples of Eastern Europe. It starts with this series of public education of the Eastern Slavs and the Rus. The capital of the first Russian state was Kiev. One of the representatives of the ancient history and architecture of the Russian state is a Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
Kiev-Pechersk Lavra - Orthodox monastery, the oldest and one of the most important monasteries in Russia. The first cave monastery are mentioned in the Tale of Bygone Years Venerable Nestor the Chronicler (beg. The XII century.).

Mass Crimes of Soviet Secret Police Exhibition Opens in Kyiv
At the Kyiv Fortress, an exhibit presents moving stories of people detained and executed by the Soviet secret police. The Exhibition is a collaboration between Ukrainian regional archives and the Polish Institute in Kyiv.

Exploring the old Soviet Park in Kyiv/Kiev, Ukraine! Hydropark Fun! ????????
The Hidropark island in the middle of the Dnipro river running through Kyiv/Kiev is a favourite weekend hot-spot for many locals in Ukraine! There are beaches, bars and restaurants as well as a fun fair, kids activities and a Ukraine in miniature too. We went along one weekend day to check it all out. And we had such a great time. As well seeing the whole island & meeting a hedgehog we also got to hang out and dance with some locals! A lot of it feels like stepping back in time about 30 years to a Soviet time gone by - and well worth spending a day here!

Exploring the Beautiful City of Kiev/Kyiv | Incredible Architecture | Vegan Haven ????????
Kiev or Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, is an incredible city we fell in love with almost immediately! Firstly, it is so incredibly beautiful! Secondly there is just so much to do and see. There's UNESCO sites and amazing churches like St Sofia's Church, St Andrew's and the fascinating Pechersk Lavra -with its caves. This all add up to make Kiev/Kyiv one of the coolest places in Europe.
And all of that isn't even the end of it, there's museums like the Chernobyl museum and the toilet museum (which didn't make the edit, sadly) a beautiful puppetry theatre and a really funky looking mosaic Park,. Although we didn't visit Chernobyl (there are extremely expensive tours there, and prices to Chernobyl have shot up after the TV show about the Chernobyl disaster), we still learnt a lot about the place.
We also ate so so well - there is just so much vegan choice, it's a bit of a vegan haven! We found Vegan Boom a whole area full of vegan stalls and restaurants, ate amazing burgers at Green 13 and cool soup at Soup Culture. Being Vegan in Ukraine has to be one of the easiest places in the whole of Eastern Europe, and we barely even started with all the vegan options here! We also drank traditional Kvas and less traditional coffee and orange.
Honestly, Kiev/Kyiv is a city not to miss!
