City Botanic Gardens - Brisbane Part 1
The City Botanic Gardens (formerly the Brisbane Botanic Gardens) is a heritage-listed botanic garden on Alice Street, Brisbane City, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was also known as Queen's Park. It is located on Gardens Point in the Brisbane CBD and is bordered by the Brisbane River, Alice Street, George Street, Parliament House and Queensland University of Technology's Gardens Point campus.
The Gardens include Brisbane's most mature gardens, with many rare and unusual botanic species. In particular the Gardens feature a special collection of cycads, palms, figs and bamboo.
The City Botanic Gardens remains the premier public park and recreational facility for the capital of Queensland

The Brisbane Botanic Gardens at Mount Coot-tha are Queensland's premier subtropical botanic gardens, displaying distinctly different gardens arranged in thematic and geographical displays.
These 56-hectare gardens are situated seven kilometres from the city centre, and offer a variety of environments including the largest collection of Australian native rainforest trees in the world and natural wildlife.
The Botanic Gardens are open every day between 8am to 6pm September to March and 8am to 5pm from April to August, and entry is free. Visitors can enjoy free guided tours Monday to Saturday at 11am and 1pm (public holidays excluded). Free mini bus tours are available on weekdays at 10.30am (excluding public holidays) departing from the Visitor Information Centre.
The gates are closed to vehicular traffic on weekends and public holidays. The Botanic Gardens features a Japanese Garden, Tropical Dome, Children’s Playground and The Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium is also located on the grounds. Dogs are not permitted.
The Gardens Café is open daily with a capacity of 150 people. Dine in a relaxing and tranquil setting. Modern Australian cuisine is served in the main cafe with light snacks, devonshire teas and ice creams also available.

After having exams, its time to have holiday. In this chance, we spent good time at City Botanical Garden, Brisbane. it is such a lovely place to visit that provides at least a little something for everyone. There is a massive playground with large play structures, sand excavators, musical instruments, and more. There are flower gardens that contain the most beautiful flowers you've ever seen. Various water spots give habitats to gorgeous reptiles and other wildlife. The whole place is family friendly and, best of all, it's free.
