מוזיאון מדע ייחודי המציע מסע חווייתי לתוך הפיזיקה שמאחורי תופעות הטבע. פעילות מהנה לכל המשפחה ולמבקרים בכל המסגרות (כיתות, בודדים, ארגונים וכו'). המוזיאון פועל תחת כיפת השמיים בלב מכון ויצמן למדע ברחובות.
הגן מתפרש על פני עשרה דונם של מדשאות ירוקות ובהן יותר מתשעים מוצגים המדגימים את חוקי הפיזיקה, שימוש באנרגית השמש והמים ותופעות טבע רבות אחרות.
הגן הוקם בשנת 1998 כיוזמה של מנהלו הראשון, דר משה רשפון, במטרה לקרב ילדים, בני נוער ומבוגרים למדע ולהדגים תופעות טבע בדרך חווייתית ומהנות.
בגן ממוקמים מוצגים הממחישים עקרונות מדעיים ותופעות טבע תוך כדי משחק והתנסות. אפשר, למשל, לחוש סוגים שונים של גלים, לחוות הרגשה של אסטרונאוט הצועד על הירח, וללמוד תוך התנסות על הדרך שבה רקדנים מאיצים ומאטים את תנועת הסחרור שלהם על קצות האצבעות.
בגן מתקיימות גם תערוכות מתחלפות בנושאים מדעיים שונים, וכן בנושאים אמנותיים הנושקים למדע.
באקו-ספירה, מתחם אקולוגי ייחודי לגן המדע -- מוזמנים המבקרים לחוות ולחקור את יחסי הגומלין בין רכיביה השונים של מערכת אקולוגית.
מאז הקמתו זכה הגן במספר פרסים, בהם פרס המועצה לארץ ישראל יפה, ופרס מטעם הארגון הבינלאומי למוזיאוני מדע וטכנולוגיה (ASTC) לאות הוקרה על יצירת חוויית ביקור יוצאת דופן. מייסד הגן, דר משה רשפון, קיבל גם את פרס החדשנות של הארגון.
בחגים ובחופשות מתקיימות בגן פעילויות מיוחדות למשפחות ולציבור הרחב. בגן המדע ובסביבתו נערכות גם רבות מהפעילויות של פסטיבל המדע -- חגיגה של מדע, תרבות וטכנולוגיה. מדי שנה מארח הגן עשרות אלפי מבקרים בגילאים שונים.

The Clore Garden of Science is an interactive, outdoor science museum located in the
heart of the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel.
Run by the Davidson Institute of Science Education, the museum challenges visitors to reconsider their ingrained perceptions and to enhance their understanding of the world around them through enjoyable, hands-on activities for all ages.
Its 10,000 square meters of green lawns are home to nearly 80 hands-on exhibits, large and small. The carefully built displays demonstrate the laws of physics, solar energy, water power and other natural phenomena that we take for granted every day. Natural elements such as sunlight, wind and water play an important role in many of the Garden's displays. These hands on, interactive exhibits come to life only at the encounter with a curious visitor who twists, pushes, bounces and pieces them together.
Among the fascinating exhibits at the Clore Garden of Science are a solar furnace that can instantly set wood on fire, water sprinklers that surround you with a full-circle rainbow, a chance to feel what it's like to walk on the moon and a water channel that shows the physics of wave action while allowing young hands to reach in and feel. Visitors older than ten can be a human yo-yo, and those as young as five can whisper secrets that travel across the park, spin in place like an Olympic ice skater, and perform a dozen other experiments that fascinate and educate.
Since its establishment over a decade ago the Clore Garden of Science has enriched hundreds of thousands of visitors, instilling in them a love of science and inquiry and an awareness of environmental responsibility. Over 60,000 visitors annually - school childen, families and tourists enjoy the scientific experience of the Clore Garden of Science.
The EcoSphere
One of the museum's most interesting sites is the EcoSphere, an ecological-educational facility designed as geodesic dome demonstrating the various principles of ecology and facilitating the study of the environment. The EcoSphere is built of black aluminum fitted with glass plates, which create hothouse effect inside the dome. The temperature and the humidity are controlled to produce a microclimate and to provide optimal conditions for a variety of life forms that are amenable to the demonstration of biological processes.
The Ecosphere invites visitors to observe the effects of climate change on plant growth and to explore environmental phenomena and interrelationships within the ecosystem. In addition, the facility provides students with a hands-on learning experience about the world's water economy and nature's food networks. Through its variety of activities, the Ecosphere can host different types of visitors, from organized groups of children and adults to teachers, research students and individual visitors to the Clore Garden.
The Clore Garden of Science gained international fame when it was awarded the 1999 Award for Innovation by the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) in partnership with BBH Exhibits, Inc.

The Coupled Swings exhibit demonstrates how energy can be transferred from one object to another. The two swings are joined by connecting cables. One visitor pushes himself/herself or is given a push and after a few back-and-forth movements the first swing stops and the second swing starts moving.
This attractive fun exhibit enables visitors to experience the energy transfer between the two swings. The sensation is unique & joyful. It also encourages fun social interactions among visitors.

Weitzman Science Festival
The Science Festival at the Weitzman Institute opened during Sukkot in the Israeli city Rehovot, there are shows, workshops competitions, tours and activities for both children and adults. Among the attractions at the festival is the 'Science Pizza' where visitors are able to order and eat but not before they have understood the scientific principles of baking, and learn how yeast works and at which temperatures it breathes at and how that helps the dough to expand. Other activities allow visitors to create musical instruments from buckets and boxes in a musical workshop. Another interesting workshop will allow participants to shoot down water filled balloons using a giant slingshot, there will also be workshops in animation and nano comics, ice cream preparation and robotics.

Infolive.tv - Israel News - The American Science magazine, The Scientist, ranked the Weizmann Institute of Rehovot, in first place in the list of best places to work in academia outside the United States. The Ranking was based on a survey of thousands of scientists from research institutions around the world, and weighed criteria such as teamwork, cooperation, size and relative achievement. Of the top ten institutions outside the U.S., the Weizmann Institute employed the least number of scientists - 108 in all.
The Institute was named after Israel's first President, Chaim Weizmann, who worked there as a scientist since it was founded in 1936.
