You probably remember this from Vator Hunters Meet up #1. My camera battery died, so I had to use my phone, which only recorded in 480p max. I finally got around to getting a full HD take of them. They were also partially modded, now, the mod's been finished for a while. These have quite a few quirks to them, sometimes the arrow works, and sometimes it doesn't. I didn't pay attention closely enough to tell what the pattern is.
These were busy, which might explain some crappy camerawork :(.

Aug. 6, 2018 | Bobby Carter -- There was a shift in Mac Miller's boisterous demeanor as he started the third of his three-song Tiny Desk set. It's the first time he's performed tracks from his new album, Swimming, in front of an audience. On 2009, he rubbed his chin with clinched eyes, looking like a young man who's beginning to crack the code. Backed by a piano loop and a string quartet, he reflected on his journey's peaks and valleys thus far.

With nearly a decade under his belt at 26 years old, these words ring like an artist twice his age.
We were introduced to Mac Miller via 2011's XXL Freshman Class, which featured a special crop of MCs such as Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill and YG, all of whom are now considered in the upper echelon of hip-hop. After his big splash, he's been able to find a groove and consistently release quality rap records, ultimately keeping his name in the conversation with the other young greats. His 2011 album, Blue Slide Park, reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the first independently distributed debut album to do so since 1995's Dogg Food by Tha Dogg Pound. These consecutive triumphs amassed plenty of fame, fortune and insurmountable obstacles, causing a stumble here and there. Throughout the years, however, Mac has brushed himself off and put it in the music.
For this performance, Mac Miller invited frequent collaborator Thundercat, who graced the Tiny Desk last year and will join Mac on tour this fall. Thundercat put on a dazzling shaker routine and played the deep centerpiece bass line on What's The Use? These Swimming iterations don't veer far away from the recorded versions, but here, his lyrics seem easier to interpret under live instrumentation.

The album's first single, Must Be the Whiskey, was released on June 15. As Rolling Stone notes, Cody Jinks is never one for pretense, but he cuts to the quick on [the] moody slow-burner [that is his] no-nonsense new single.
He leads a back-to-basics, populist outlaw musical movement thanks in good part to relentless road work and killer shows, and has already sold a quarter million of his previous independently-released albums. Jinks continues to perform strings of shows that sell out so quickly that he frequently has to add second nights at venues across the nation, including Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium. His upcoming July 15 show in Lexington, KY recently sold out in just a few minutes.
We go all over the United States, man, and people tell us, 'Thank you,' says Jinks of his touring with his band, cheekily named The Tone Deaf Hippies. I hear 'thank you' more than I hear anything else. There's no bullshit in our show. There's no dancing, there's no sparkle-bottom jeans. We get out there and we rip people's faces off.
Born in Haltom City, TX, raised in nearby Fort Worth, and now based out of Denton, TX, Jinks recalls his first musical memory as hearing Merle Haggard at age three. He's been the number one influence ever since, he says. Schooled by his father in such American musical legends as Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and others, and then on guitar in his teens, Jinks first started honing his own outsider style and steel-edged songs, as the Nashville Tennessean describes them, in Texas honky-tonks.
His dedicated fans are known as #Flockers for how they leap at the chance to enjoy his performances. As Rolling Stone notes, If there's a common thread between members of his audience, he figures it has something to do with their struggles to get by and the nagging suspicion that they're seen as marginal, undesirable people by the rest of the world. Calling All Cars: Disappearing Scar / Cinder Dick / The Man Who Lost His Face
The radio show Calling All Cars hired LAPD radio dispacher Jesse Rosenquist to be the voice of the dispatcher. Rosenquist was already famous because home radios could tune into early police radio frequencies. As the first police radio dispatcher presented to the public ear, his was the voice that actors went to when called upon for a radio dispatcher role.
The iconic television series Dragnet, with LAPD Detective Joe Friday as the primary character, was the first major media representation of the department. Real LAPD operations inspired Jack Webb to create the series and close cooperation with department officers let him make it as realistic as possible, including authentic police equipment and sound recording on-site at the police station.
Due to Dragnet's popularity, LAPD Chief Parker became, after J. Edgar Hoover, the most well known and respected law enforcement official in the nation. In the 1960s, when the LAPD under Chief Thomas Reddin expanded its community relations division and began efforts to reach out to the African-American community, Dragnet followed suit with more emphasis on internal affairs and community policing than solving crimes, the show's previous mainstay.
Several prominent representations of the LAPD and its officers in television and film include Adam-12, Blue Streak, Blue Thunder, Boomtown, The Closer, Colors, Crash, Columbo, Dark Blue, Die Hard, End of Watch, Heat, Hollywood Homicide, Hunter, Internal Affairs, Jackie Brown, L.A. Confidential, Lakeview Terrace, Law & Order: Los Angeles, Life, Numb3rs, The Shield, Southland, Speed, Street Kings, SWAT, Training Day and the Lethal Weapon, Rush Hour and Terminator film series. The LAPD is also featured in the video games Midnight Club II, Midnight Club: Los Angeles, L.A. Noire and Call of Juarez: The Cartel.
The LAPD has also been the subject of numerous novels. Elizabeth Linington used the department as her backdrop in three different series written under three different names, perhaps the most popular being those novel featuring Det. Lt. Luis Mendoza, who was introduced in the Edgar-nominated Case Pending. Joseph Wambaugh, the son of a Pittsburgh policeman, spent fourteen years in the department, using his background to write novels with authentic fictional depictions of life in the LAPD. Wambaugh also created the Emmy-winning TV anthology series Police Story. Wambaugh was also a major influence on James Ellroy, who wrote several novels about the Department set during the 1940s and 1950s, the most famous of which are probably The Black Dahlia, fictionalizing the LAPD's most famous cold case, and L.A. Confidential, which was made into a film of the same name. Both the novel and the film chronicled mass-murder and corruption inside and outside the force during the Parker era. Critic Roger Ebert indicates that the film's characters (from the 1950s) represent the choices ahead for the LAPD: assisting Hollywood limelight, aggressive policing with relaxed ethics, and a straight arrow approach.

Alleged traffickers in major drug bust appear in court, 2 still on the run
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A major Cincinnati drug ring was busted up Monday, and many of the alleged traffickers were in federal court to answer to charges Thursday.
There were 12 suspected drug traffickers in court. Each stood before a judge to try and get released on bond, and each time, the judge denied the request, saying the men and women are a danger to the community.
Ten of suspects were arrested in a series of raids Monday morning by DEA agents and local officers. Nine search warrants were served at three spots in Cincinnati, including a car wash off Reading Road in Bond Hill and an apartment complex in Hartwell.
DEA agent Tim Reagan says they also got $15,000 in cash, four firearms and 250 grams of fentanyl, but they are still searching for Keysean Dickey who ran the operation.
The DEA says Dickey directed runners to drive highways like Norwood Lateral. Then the group would use cell phones to direct the dealer and buyer to a certain place at certain time.
Keysean had six to eight people working for him at any given time every day. So typically we see 10 to 20 customers. On this one, they had about 50, Reagan said.
DEA agents estimate that Dickey was pulling in $40,000 a week.
It was happening mostly in CPD's District 4, which includes Mount Auburn, Corryville and Bond Hill.

The DEA had been investigating this gang for eight months. They believe some of the suspects were responsible for recent violence in the city.
Tom Fallon with the Hamilton County Heroin Task Force says this only makes a small dent in the drug problem.
Just in the last 16 hours my task force has investigated two deaths. The problem is still there. Does this help? Yes. Are there a lot more people to get? Yes, he said.
