OMSK
Two month ago I received in Omsk.
Unbelievable, Beautiful Nature, Weather, People, Buildings, Rivers and hundreds, hundreds fantastic places. I can see in Omsk.
Omsk is one of the leading cities and eight’s largest city in Federation of Russia. It is a large industrial center of light, food, printing, chemical, petrochemical and aerospace industries in Federation of Russia.
The climate is continental with frosty winters and hot summers.
The city is located in the southern part of the West Siberian Plain, in the center of the southern part of the Omsk region, on the banks of the Irtysh River at the confluence with the Om River. The rivers connect the city with a number of coal and other mineral mining cities and towns of Kazakhstan and with oil, natural gas and lumber rich regions of Siberia.
Omsk City Day, celebrated on the first Sunday of August, is one of the most widely celebrated holidays.
Omsk is a major historical and cultural center of Siberia.
Among the other major cities of Russia, Omsk stands out for its diverse architecture and fantastic natures and of course culture.

More information on Crimea’s land conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine – Land conflicts are often widely debated and can have disastrous effects on individuals, groups and entire nations. As Kids LearningTube, it’s my mission to teach those of all ages the facts and I do not have a personal opinion nor the authority to speak on behalf of territorial rights no matter how emotionally charged or justified the dispute of parties involved. With this said, below are some facts about Crimea since there’s international debate of whether it rightfully is part of the Russian Federation or Ukraine.
In recent history (“History of Crimea,” 1), Crimea became an oblast first of the Russian SSR (1945-1954) and then the Ukranian SSR (1954 - 1991). Since 1991 the territory was covered within independent Ukraine. During the 2014 Crimean crisis, the peninsula was taken over by pro-Russian forces and a referendum on whether to join Russia was held (“Crimean Status Referendum, 2014” 2), which resulted in Crimea being annexed by the Russian Federation. Since the annexation, there has been much debate about whether this is condemned or supported by the international community. At the 2014 UN General Assembly in 2014, 100 countries voted in favor of the position that Russia’s annexation of Ukrainian territory was illegal under international law, 48 countries abstained from voting, and 10 countries backed the Russian Federation (“From A to Z: These are the 10 countries backing Putin’s annexation of Crimea,” 3).
The Russian Federation opposes the “annexation” label, with Putin defending the referendum as complying with the principle of self-determination of peoples. In July 2015, Russian prime minister Dmitry Medvedev said that Crimea had been fully integrated into Russia (“Annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation,” 4)

Hidden in Siberia: 7 Facts about Krasnoyarsk Krai

------------------------------------------------
More information about the video content bellow:
1. Krasnoyarsk Krai is a federal subject of Russia. Krasnoyarsk Krai is the largest krai in the Russian Federation, the second largest federal subject (after the neighboring Sakha Republic) and the third largest subnational governing body by area in the world, after Sakha and the Australian state of Western Australia. The krai covers an area of 2,339,700 square kilometers, which is nearly one quarter the size of the entire country of Canada (the next-largest country in the world after Russia), constituting roughly 13% of the Russian Federation's total area and containing a population of 2,828,187, or just under 2% of its population, per the 2010 Census.
2. According to archaeologists, the first people reached Siberia circa 40,000 BCE. Russian settlement of the area (mostly by Cossacks) began in the 17th century. After the construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway the Russian colonization of the area strongly increased. During both the Tsarist and the Bolsheviks' times the territory of Krasnoyarsk Krai was used as a place of exile of political enemies. The first leaders of the Soviet state, Vladimir Lenin and Joseph Stalin were exiled to what is now the krai in 1897–1900 and 1903, respectively. In Stalin's era numerous Gulag camps were located in the region. Over 95% of the cities, a majority of the industrial enterprises, and all of the agriculture are concentrated in the south of the krai.
3. Krasnoyarsk is a city and the administrative center of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, located on the Yenisei River. It is the third-largest city in Siberia after Novosibirsk and Omsk, with a population of 1,035,528 as of the 2010 Census.
4. The krai lies in the middle of Siberia, and occupies nearly half of the Siberian Federal District. The climate is strongly continental with large temperature variations during the year. For the central and southern regions where most of the krai's population lives, long winters and short, hot summers are characteristic. The territory of Krasnoyarsk Krai experiences conditions of three climate belts: Arctic, Subarctic, and moderate. In the north there are less than 40 days with temperature above 10 °C. The average temperature in January is −36 °C (−33 °F) in the north and −18 °C (0 °F) in the south.
5. On June 30, 1908, in the basin of the Podkamennaya Tunguska River, there occurred a powerful explosion most likely to have been caused by the air burst of a large meteoroid or comet fragment at an altitude of 5–10 kilometers (3–6 miles) above Earth's surface. The force of the explosion is estimated to be about 10–15 megatons. It flattened more than 2,000 square kilometers (500,000 acres) of pine forest and killed thousands of reindeer.
6. The most popular place of attraction for tourists visiting Krasnoyarsk is the huge national nature reserve Stolby (pillars), which covers an area of 470 square kilometers (180 sq mi) with numerous giant granite rocks formations up to 100 meters high, many of very extraordinary shapes. Stolby is also a major rock climbing location.
7. The Krasnoyarsk Dam is a 124-metre high concrete gravity dam located on the Yenisey River Beginning with the opening of the 10th turbine in April 1971, the powerhouse was the world's single largest power plant.

Most Insane Russian Tanks!
Extremely dangerous russian tanks on the battlefield are some of the most advanced machines in the military that you won’t believe throughout the ages. Let’s see if the armata tank or the T-90 would be able to destroy modern american tanks in action.
Subscribe to American Eye
7.Armata T15 Vehicle
In addition to the devastating T15 tank, Russia has some other armored vehicles up their sleeves. The Russian T15 Fighting vehicle is used by their armed forces and is the first one of its kind. It uses a steel and ceramic composite armor with an automatic 30mm cannon and capable of storing 500 of these rounds. It has the compacity to carry 9 people and reach speeds of 65-to 70 miles an hour. It’s about the same weight of a tank but would be used more often for scouting with it’s multiple cameras and mobility.
6.SU-100
This soviet tank destroyer had some serious firepower with a 100mm D10S and was used most often during the end of world war two. It’s certainly earned its classification and was able to penetrate 125mm of vertical armor from a range of 1.2 miles and could pierce through German Panther from a range of 0.93 miles. Able to reach a speed of 30 miles an hour but that also came with an upgrade of its own armor. Not too many were constructed though with only 2,335 seeing service by 1945 but many more reproduced and even still active in countries such as morocco, algeria, north korea, yemen and vietnam.
5.T-34
The T-34 was a medium tank developed by the soviets and it quickly became a force to reckon with. Anti-tank rounds had trouble piercing it’s well-sloped armor which means projectiles wouldn’t be making a 90 degree impact upon it. During the war, many advancements were made to make it more cost effective and quicker to produce. They managed to make an estimated 80,000 of them making it the 2nd most produced during world war II, after the M4. The T-34 made an appearance during the biggest tank battle of all time, the battle of kursk and played a big role in repelling the final german offensive
4.The Flying Tank
Some military helicopters out there, might get the nickname of the flying tank, but this strange prototype, literally is a flying tank. This is what’s known as the Antonov A-40, which is basically a 6 ton tank attached to a glider plane. The idea was to use gliders to gently transport tanks into the front lines, but this appeared to have some difficulties. This soviet design, never actually seen on the battlefield but actually was tested out in 1942. The extreme drag created by the tank’s sheer weight was enough for them to call off the project and the Soviets looked for other ways to transport tanks. Still terrifying nonetheless.
3.T80
Possibly one of the most disappointing soviet tanks ever made is the T80 tank which entered service in 1976 and is still in use currently. It was mainly produced in the city of Omsk, Russia and its chief designer was Nikolay Popov. This is classified as a main battle tank and they were certainly the standard during the cold war. NATO was certainly worried about the mechanical beasts and feared that they could take over all of europe in only a few weeks. For a while, it was unclear exactly how they could be destroyed which lead to the advanced research in anti-tank weaponry. Some of the thickest portions of armor could reach about 13 centimeters in the hull and turret while still being able to reach a max speed of 43 miles an hour on a road. The t80’s are equipped with 125 millimeter smoothbore cannons which can effectively fire a shell 3.5 kilometers. While everything might sound good on paper, they proved to be fairly ineffective against chechen rebels. It gulped a lot of fuel and required a lot of maintenance
2.T72
Another soviet main battle tank, the T-72 has seen heavy combat on 3 different continents and is considered to be a 2nd generation well armored machine. It was first in service in 1973 and one of the most exported main battle tanks in the world. An estimated 30,000 of the tanks have been made and was one of the favorites among the red army. It was the most commonly used tank by countries who were apart of the warsaw pact from the 1970’s all the way until the fall of the soviet union in the 1990’s. Downgraded versions of the T-72 were exported to arab countries like iraq with inferior armor, just in case they decided to go against russia for some reason. In any case, they were designed to be resistant to nuclear, biological and chemical warfare attacks for extrea protection. This was partially in thanks to a synthetic fabric made from a boron compound which would reduce the effects of a neuron bomb.

Transarctica Walkthrough Part 6: Road to Omsk
Extensive info down here!
Reupload of my full Transarctica walkthrough from 2014-2015. I had previously recorded a full playthrough in German counting 30 or so episodes. These seven videos show you all the important steps you need for winning the game.
Transarctica aka Arctic Baron (1993) was one of my most important and personal projects. I could never finish it as a kid and even when the internet came around, search results for this game were almost nonexistent. Nobody seemed to know how to beat it, or maybe nobody cared given that the game is so obscure.
Be warned that there is a copy protection in the game that will spawn an unbeatable pack of wolves if you use a corrupt version. The wolves will appear either mid-game or right before the end and make it impossible to proceed.
Transarctica is based on the French dystopia La Compagnie des glaces and pretty much every trains in snow setting you've seen since then goes back to Georges-Jean Arnaud. Despite this, the original novels never got much recognition and have not been fully translated to English.
Arnaud's novels and the game remain relevant as our real world also faces the questions of climate change, greenhouse effect, and resource conservation. I mean hey, we could always nuke the moon and drive around in armored trains with giant machine guns if all else fails.

Tyumen in the Mist - Siberian Winter Moments
Tyumen located in West Siberia along a river, named Tura, represents the oldest Settling in Siberia and today became one of the bigger cities in the far East of Russia.
The climate is continental with usually hot summers and very cold winters. This footage was taken at the end of November. And I gave it the title winter moments although temperatures about - 20°C are not yet considered as a real winter by the natives.
The coldest period is between January and March with temperatures around at least - 30°C.
The climatic conditions in 2015 are unusual related to years before as the summer was quite cold, while the early winter weather is quite unconstant and unexpectedly windy. The locals report they had only a few summer days this year so that the joke became common Why didn't you get some color in the summer sun? Answer: Because I needed to work that day!.
Snow and thaw rotate in November. Sunny, but very cold days, often without snow, cause aesthetically interesting effects: warmer vapors coming out of the manhole covers encase streets and cars into a mysterious mist, which looks most fascinating in the backlight.
