Licking County Convention and Visitors Bureau 1998
Licking County is a county located in the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2010 census, the population was 166,492. Its county seat is Newark. The county was formed on January 30, 1808 from portions of Fairfield County. It is named for the salt licks that were in the area.
Licking County is part of the Columbus, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Many of those are tied to the 11 million visitors we get each year. Nicki says Broward beaches are part of the international Blue Wave Beach program and explains why that is so important. Stacy and Nicki talk about special deals that are available for local residents, including many which are free.
