2 Minutes on 2 Wheels Creole Nature Trail
America on 2 Wheels Special Feature 2 on 2 Takes a Ride along Louisiana's Gulf Coast. Starting in the western corner of the state we begin with a ride along the Creole Nature Trail.
Calcasieu Parish Intracoastal Park Louisiana. Inexpensive, but not cheap. Great area.
We had spent 2 nights in an RV Park in Sulphur LA, were driving south for the Creole Nature Trail adventure, and I wanted to check this out. I had seen it on Freecampsites.net before. Wow, I wish I'd have gone here first and saved a TON of money. Way better than that sterile RV Park. This gem lies about 10 minutes south of Interstate 10 at the Sulphur exit.
I rate this a 4 Star overall. The only thing missing was any trails within walking distance of the grounds. Soooo quiet at night too. Constant low rumbling of the construction going on south, but it was just white noise. LOVE THIS SPOT!
