Crescent Meadows at Sequoia National Park
Famous for their giant sequoias, soaring mountains, deep canyons, and roaring rivers, this tandem set of parks have plenty to see, even though they are less well known than Yosemite, roughly 75 miles/120 kilometers north. Within the borders of Sequoia/Kings Canyon are Mount Whitney, the highest point in the contiguous United States at 14,494 feet/4,417 meters, and the Kings River Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in North America. Still, the parks—as well as adjacent Giant Sequoia National Monument and national forest lands—are most revered for their super-size sequoias. Thanks to the General Sherman Tree, the world’s largest living thing, and its gargantuan neighbors, gawking at the big trees is the most popular activity here. I made this trip in June 2018. Video shot with a Brinno TLC-200 Pro time-lapse camera mounted on my roof with a homemade magnetic case. I travel with two Brinno cameras - one facing forward, the other in reverse. Sometimes the reverse camera captures better video (fewer raindrops and bugs hit the rear-view lens).

GoPro Hero 3 HD: Moro Rock, Sequoia Climb Using The Chesty
I used the Go Pro Hero 3 and the Chesty to climb to the top of Moro Rock in Sequoia, California. Yes, the chesty was right near my heart so, you can hear how hard I was breathing (it is 6725 feet in elevation). I did make it!! Hope you enjoy!!
Moro Rock is a granite dome rock formation in Sequoia National Park, California, USA. It is located in the center of the park, at the head of Moro Creek, between Giant Forest and Crescent Meadow. A stairway, designed by the National Park Service and built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, is cut into and poured onto the rock, so that visitors can hike to the top. The view from the rock encompasses much of the Park, including the Great Western Divide.

MAGIC of SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK
#SequoiaNationalPark #KingsCanyonNationalPark #SequoiaTrees #California #FindYourPark
Hello fellow YouTubers! This is HB Maverick and we are heading to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks on a four-day trip. Yes, that is a new tow vehicle for our t@g trailer. We now have a Ram 1500 four-wheel drive truck to pull our little trailer on the road and trails!
Our first stop was at Red Rock Canyon State Park, north of Los Angles and then the next morning finished our trip to the National Parks. We camped in the Sequoia National Forest between Sequoia and Kings Canyon.
Let’s Go!
Kings Canyon Road
The road down to the floor of the Kings Canyon was steep and lots of switchbacks with spectacular views at every turn. And at the bottom there were the flowing river, picnic areas, camping, and lots of hiking trails.
Conclusion
The National Parks have a slogan to “Find Your Park”. I encourage all of you to take your car, tent, camper, RV or hike into one of your nearby National or State parks and enjoy them!
Be sure to smash that Like button, Subscribe and we will see YOU on the next adventure!

Congress Trail and Morro Rock | Sequoia National Park, California
We only had one day to explore Sequoia National Park in California so we hiked some of the main trails in the park. We hiked the Congress Trail and climbed Morro Rock. Thankfully we were able to take the free shuttles around the park as there are many roads that our RV Big Booty Judy was not able to access. We had a wonderful time in Sequoia National Park and even got up close and personal with a few deer.
