Highway Patrol Chase
01/22/2020 The California Highway patrol attempt to pull over a vehicle with no license plates. When they attempt to pull the female driver over, she continues to exit the freeway in an erratic manner. As she exited the freeway she hit a center divided causing her front tire to blow out. The CHP requested the assistance of the San Diego Police as the vehicle continued the pursuit at a slow speed through the streets of South East San Diego. The driver ended up in a residential neighborhood and barricaded herself in her vehicle and covered the windows. After several minutes of ignoring commands, the SDPD deployed pepper balls into the vehicle and the driver was taken out of the vehicle and taken into custody. The driver did not have a driver license and the case is still under investigation.

PLRS Episode #03 w/special guest, Mylene Arroyo
Episode #03 of the PLRS podcast, with special guest, Mylene Arroyo!
Mylene Arroyo, born Mylene Capati, was born in the Philippines and raised in Valenzuela where she found her love for music at Age 5. With the support of her parents, she was able to develop skills as a musician and artist.
A star student in her formative years, she regularly showcased her talents in high school beauty pageants and talents shows at, St. Jude Academy (now La Consolacion), a private Catholic school in Malinta, Valenzuela where she attended from kindergarten until her senior year.
Often considered the muse of her class, she performed in every contest, gaining confidence as she consistently won and competed with classmates and other schools.
After one year of college at AMA Computer College, she migrated to America to live with and help her father. Working hard, she graduated from DeVry University with a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering technologies.
Though studying and life pulled her away from music for a short while, her passion for playing and making music returned with new vigor as she developed close ties to local churches in Los Angeles and the Inland empire. She soon realized that God had a purpose for her life, to serve Him and to help out local churches who are in need. It was while doing this work that she met the love of her life, John Arroyo. Since then, they have been blessed with three beautiful children, Jerico, Joel, and Angeline. She now continues God's work, performing music everywhere and spreading love to all those who love music. She can be found spreading the good news and Gods love at Symposia Church in the Inland Empire.

PLRS Episode #01 w/special guest, hip hop artist BagYo
Episode #01 of the PLRS podcast, with special guest artist, BagYo!
Hailing from Pasay City Philippines, BagYo has been taking the world by storm. Now residing in Southern California, he is primed to be one of the most prominent American Filipino Hip Hop artists to emerge within our community.
Through the years, he’s performed at a myriad of events ranging from publicized venues, TV interviews, and several guest appearances such as local Station ABC7 news, KCET with Kat Iniba, and news articles nationwide like Washington D.C.’s National McclatchyDC (publicized in 30 states across the US). He participates in multitudes of and charity functions; the majority of them in or around his stomping grounds right here in Los Angeles.
Before the bright lights and center stage, artist BagYo performed his duties in a very different type of theatre. BagYo is not only a Music Composer, he is Veteran of the venerable ranks of the United States Marine Corps and served and deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
But.. service to his country wasn’t without a toll. He has had to overcome some adversities such as PTSD and is currently overcoming the fight of his life.. Being a Cancer Survivor.
Having found a new voice through music in the name of BagYo, he utilizes his position to access a platform that many others are unable to for a greater cause. And by all accounts he appears to do so with confidence. BagYo remarks, “While I was in the Marines, making music was always a strong interest and passion for me. It’s something that’s been embedded into me since high school, back when writing music and poetry was just a hobby for me”. Now it’s more of a driving force, representing and endearing humanity’s constant struggle of life and progression. An ever-changing movement tempered in fires of dedication, sacrifice, and faith; deftly cooled in the waters of compassion, love, and understanding. Ultimately culminating into a perfect musical storm.

How to beat an Overweight Vehicle citation
Vehicle Code 35551 VC makes it a CRIME to operate an overweight vehicle in California. But as the criminal defense lawyer explains in this video, it's often possible to fight -- and beat -- an overweight vehicle citation.
The police may have pulled you over (and forced you to a weigh station) without probable cause. And they may have violated procedures and protocols in determining the weight of your car, truck, van, bus or rig.
Here, an experienced California defense attorney explains her strategies in fighting these cases.

A look at Rancho Cucamonga’s 2015 Veterans Day Celebration
An estimated gathering of 1,000 citizens representing all generations of Americans – gathered at the Rancho Cucamonga 2015 Veterans Day Celebration. With music, feasts and honored guests who have served America, it was a memorable day of activities at Freedom Courtyard.
As Rancho Cucamonga Community Service Specialist Donna Castrejon explained, the veterans were on center stage – as they should be. “They all came out, young and old, families of veterans. It was a great community time of bonding, where… we remembered our veterans and once again everyone remembered why were here.”
It was the 8th consecutive year for the event. You can hear more from Castrejon and see images fomr the celebration from Brent Weber’s feature package and be sure to watch RC Spotlight, RC Living and California Life on your local station or online!
