The RVs of Scotland - United Kingdom Motorhomes & Caravans
We've just returned from an awesome two-week trip to Scotland, where we saw more motorhomes, caravans, sites and pitches than we ever expected... especially since we just learned what some of those terms mean!
Come along for the ride while we share everything we learned about RVing in the United Kingdom.
Starting in Glasgow, we headed northwest to the Scottish Highlands, visiting the Isles of Mull, Iona and Skye, then north to Ullapool, across to the Orkney Islands, down to Inverness and St. Andrews, and on to Edinburgh.
It was our first time in the U.K. and the countryside is absolutely beautiful. Scotland also has over a thousand castles, and we saw (and toured through) a lot of them, including spectacular Dunrobin Castle, high on a hill overlooking the North Sea.
Even though this trip was on a guided motorcoach tour, the next time we visit, we'll hopefully be renting a motorhome ourselves.

Last day in Scotland! Holyrood Palace, High Tea and Custom Kilt Fitting!
Caleb finally got to get his Clan McRae kilt which will arrive in 10 weeks! We were so sad to leave but had a wonderful last day in Edinburgh! Holyrood Palace and the royal mile along with princess street gardens. We finished the day with an amazing dinner at our hotel the Angels Share.

In this video I show you around my 410 square foot 2 bedroom brick house in the Cotswolds, England. I share with you the ways we have made the most of every square inch to create a second bedroom, a craft room, an office space, room for 2 freezers and a dishwasher in our tiny kitchen, overhead wardrobes in the master bedroom, a bulkhead void wardrobe over the stairs, a vegetable garden, a flower garden and picnic area, a pantry, an airing cupboard, a second floor to ceiling wardrobe, a shower and 3/4 length bath, and guest sleeping for an additional 2 adults taking us to being able to sleep 6 adults within 410 square feet.
