DFDS Pearl Seaways from Copenhagen to Oslo
MS Pearl Seaways is a cruiseferry owned by DFDS Seaways and operated on their Copenhagen–Oslo service. She was built in 1989 by Wärtsilä Marine, Turku, for Rederi AB Slite as MS Athena for use in Viking Line traffic. Between 1993 and 2001, she sailed as MS Langkapuri Star Aquarius. From 2001 to 2011 she sailed as MS Pearl of Scandinavia.

This is what the Copenhagen Cruise Port (Oceankaj Terminal) looks like. The grass lawn roofs of the buildings are quite interesting. You see guests departing to pick up their luggages, and food being loaded by forklift onto the Norwegian Star cruise ship. In the video I also zoomed in to show you would go to take the public bus (#25 or #26) into downtown Copenhagen.
Arriving At The Port of Copenhagen, Denmark
The Port of Copenhagen (Danish: Københavns Havn) is the largest Danish seaport and one of the largest ports in the Baltic Sea basin. It extends from Svanemølle Beach in the north to Hvidovre in the south. Along with Malmö harbour, Copenhagen Port is operated by Copenhagen Malmö Port and By & Havn.
The port is divided into several different areas, many of which are individual harbors:
There has been rapid development along the seafront; large parts of the inner harbor been recently transformed into residential and commercial areas. The port has seen a dramatic resurgence in activity since the 1990s, following a long period of decline following the 1940s.

Normally, one is in Oslo and one in Copenhagen, but when Crown finished her docking this week, she and Pearl were in Copenhagen at the same time. We couldn't resist sending up a drone to capture some photos of them together now that they are both sporting the new livery!

The delicious dinner buffet served at the 7 Seas Restaurant (Seven Seas Restaurant) onboard the DFDS Crown of Scandinavia is not to be missed. You will definitely not go away from this feast hungry. This is a video from our 3 day mini cruise from Copenhagen to Oslo on-board the Danish passenger liner / ferry DFDS Crown of Scandinavia where we were fortunate enough to enjoy this buffet. From this video we hope that you are able to get an idea of the foods available to your from this fantastic Scandinavian Buffet which offers something for all tastes. Delicious seafood starters which include mussels, shrimps, New Zealand mussels, small crayfish/crawfish, smoked salmon, Graved salmon, caviar, herrings smoked mackerel and more. Cold meats, pates and salads. Warm Fish and meat dishes. A spread of cheeses and biscuits not to mention the delicious desserts. Watch out for these and other foods in the video. I highly recommend this buffet. Book in advance (before you sail) as this buffet is very popular among the many Danes and Norwegians which use this mini cruise as a short relaxing holiday. The buffet is so popular that it has six or seven settings which can be booked: Times are 17:30, 18:00, 18:15, 18:30, 20:15 and 21:00. If you reserve earlier enough you can even reserve a window table.
This type of buffet is often referred to as The Smörgåsbord (smorgesbord) and consists of many cold dishes (in this case also warm and hot dishes). In Norway the buffet is called Koldtbord and in Denmark it is called Det Kolde Bord or Det Store Kolde Bord (The Cold Table or The Big Cold Table).
