Dacotah Prairie Museum teaches about frontier with Monday art workshops
The Dacotah Prairie Museum is holding art workshops on Mondays in March for preschool children and those in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. See some of the students use boxes and folded paper techniques to create their own businesses for frontier Main Street here.
Recycle Your World exhibit at the Dacotah Prairie Museum
Lora Schaunaman is the Curator of Exhibits at the Dacotah Prairie Museum, and she and her crew of volunteers have been working hard on the newest children's exhibit at the museum, Recycle Your World. She's putting together an exhibit made completely of recycled materials, and she needs your help. They are looking for all types of colors of bottle caps, Pringles cans, and clear water bottles. The exhibit opens in February.
