在张掖的第二天啦，基本上把能玩的都玩了
大佛寺是1098年建筑的，真的非常有历史感，值得一去！
七彩丹霞的玩法有两种：
1，北门跟西门线，普通票，可以游玩四个区（一共6个），每个中间都有大巴，自由上下
2，东门线，豪华票，游玩4个区之外再加上1个区和1个徒步游览。
如果我事先知道就买那个东门进的票，但是身边有老人，加上看4个区就花了将近4个小时，还是要做好准备再来。
喜欢拍照的朋友，真的可以待上一天！

Climbing the Mati Si Tibetan Buddhist Temple Caves in Zhangye China
Right outside Zhangye, China, in the province of Gansu, there is a Tibetan temple complex called Mati Si. Translated, this means horse hoof temple and legend tells a story of Tibetan monks finding a horse hoof print in the rocks of a cave and then built a temple there.
There are dozens of caves, the largest one is considered the largest grotto in China. This large cave, called the Standing Buddha Hall has a tall statue of Buddha at the entrance along with dozens of other Buddha statues throughout, a total of 48 Buddhas.
The site is located a short distance from Zhangye downtown, and any taxi driver will offer you transportation service to the area in a comfortable SUV. Compare a few different offers before you go. The hotel will also provide a car and driver for you. Plan to spend an entire day there to see all the grottos and caves.
While I was there, I also encountered some higher altitude Asian birds, among them the Asian Azure Winged Magpie and the Elliot’s Laughingthrush.

Country #8 DerekAcrossAsia China September 2016 - One of the things wanted to see at Dafo Temple Zhangye, Gansu China. It is housed in a building and quite dark. Tried a few photos and have posted those on the google map for the location, but a 360 video captures how big it is .. and feeling. You can also do a wikipedia of it for further information. but a quick quote... The Temple's huge statue is made of clay on a wooden frame and depicts the Gautama Buddha's attainment of nirvana, with his ten disciples standing behind him. It is largely unaltered since the time of the Xia. With a length of some 35 metres (115 ft), Ruth W. Dunnell has described it as the largest reclining clay Buddha statue in China

Started off my tour with Lead to China by visiting some local spots around Zhangye, China! We went to a few temples in town including the Big Buddha, a wetlands museum and saw some of the local squares.
