100 roofs bar da lat
Café 100 Mai Roofs is a great place for every tourists being in Dalat. It offers excellent dishes and drinks. The services are wonderful as well.
100 Roofs is located in an unusual place for such a popular café and it also has quite an amazing design. Situated among small shop-houses and just about 100 metres from the town market, regulars usually go to the rooftop where they can appreciate the views and simply relax. 100 Roofs Café reminds many customers of Dalat’s famous Crazy House, partly because they share the same jungle theme: However this doesn’t mean that both places share the same atmosphere. Go and see for yourself.
Direction
From Dalat Train Station, go head southwest on Quang Trung St toward Nguyen Trai St. Continue onto Yersin St. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Tran Quoc Toan St. Turn right at Le Dai Hanh St. Take the 2nd right onto Le Thi Hong Gam St. Turn left at Phan Boi Chau St to reach the restaurant.
Must Do, Da Lat 100 Rooftop Cafe - Travel Vietnam 2018
We had read about this cafe when researching things to do in Da Lat and to be honest we almost skipped it, but are we glad we didn't!
It is crazy different, quite unique and a heap of fun.
It consists of three or four floors inside, converted into a maze of short passages, mezzanines and numerous stairways, with tables and chairs to sit at scattered throughout.
There are areas that are dark and eery, while others are light and kooky and if you make it through all of those and find the stairs to the outside, you are greeted by a large terraced garden with even more seating and continued craziness.
If you are ever in Dalat, we say this is a must do, even if it's only for a short visit, it is something different and fun.
In our blog, we show you more pictures and accounts from this interesting visit.
We'd love it if you liked and shared this video, so others who haven't yet heard of us, also get a chance to share in the experience. Thanks :)

We are Leon and Tash, a New Zealand vlogging couple who set off on an amazing Vietnam adventure as fulltime travellers, backpacking Vietnam. But we weren't going to travel to Vietnam for one of those ordinary backpacking Vietnam trips you hear about everybody doing, where they go for a couple off weeks and check out the beaches or maybe riding through Vietnam at such a crazy pace that they never get off the beaten track. No we want more than that.
Our Vietnam adventures start with learning the way of the locals, taking just enough time to figure out how things work, discover what the Must see places in Vietnam are and more importantly where Vietnam's hidden gems are...
To do this, we moved to Danang Vietnam. The plan was to spend 3 months living in Da Nang, meeting and learning from locals about the culture, the amazing food, their way of living and what places they would recommend to travel in Vietnam.
And because Danang is in the middle of the country, we hoped we might meet other tourists or expats who were having their own Vietnam travel adventure or were at the halfway point of motorcycle riding through Vietnam and hear from them, what places they thought we must visit in Vietnam. Also, as new travel vloggers, having a base there meant we could try things like doing Da Nang Vietnam travel vlog or creating a Danang Vietnam travel guide, before also taking on the stresses of fulltime travel.
Then in month 4, that's when the real Vietnam adventure begins. With our new list of must see places, we will head to Saigon and buy a couple of motorbikes. to start our Vietnam road trip!
Motorcycle riding through Vietnam seems like one of the most hectic, crazy and chaotic things anyone could do, but we can't wait!! And we wont be following a simple South to North / Saigon to Hanoi route, we plan on doing more like a figure 8, so that our travel in Vietnam will cover both the inland and coastal areas of this amazing country.
So can we still say we are backpacking Vietnam? Or should we be telling people our travel in Vietnam is a motorcycle trip through Vietnam? We're not sure, but what we do know is, our Vietnam road trip is going to cover over 6000km's from Saigon right up to the famous waterfalls of Ban Gioc near Cao Bang, round the northern point of the Ha Giang loop and everything else we can access in between.
So we hope you'll join us, the New Zealand vlogging couple, on our Vietnam adventure by clicking subscribe to join the Tribe and experience our travel in Vietnam..
Emerald Egg? Check Out DOHA Cafe in Da Lat - Travel Vietnam 2018
We had noticed this big green structure across the other side of the lake as we rode into Da Lat and had no idea what it was, so we nick-named it the Emerald Egg.
We decided to get up this morning to go to the other side of the lake and find out what it was all about. It started off as a reasonable day in Da Lat but it didn't take long before our plans were being foiled and we had to take an unplanned walk around the lake, which was waaaay bigger than we realised.
Then the weather decided it wanted to mess with too and totally screwed the rest of our days plans, so this all resulted in a hangry, some what less than positive/cheerful video as you will see, haha.
We'd love it if you liked and shared this video, so others who haven't yet heard of us, also get a chance to share in the experience. Thanks :)

DA LAT VIETNAM | COUNTRYSIDE TOUR | THISIZZTHELIFE
Join us exploring the town of Da Lat in South Vietnam. We visit some of Da Lat's main attractions including the Weasel Coffee Plantation, Elephant Waterfall, a Silk Factory, Pagodas and a minority village.
Day One:
We spent the day walking around Da Lat. Firstly, we visited Linh Son Pagoda which was one of our favourite pagodas in Vietnam and felt very peaceful. Next, I tried my first ever Vietnamese coffee which was very strong! We also visited the lake which had pedalos and horse & carriage rides.
Day Two:
We joined a Countryside Tour. First stop was quaint Da Lat station where you can catch a short ride on the local steam train.
We then visited a flower farm where the farmers hand-picked roses for lovers visiting the city.
Next up, we visited a minority village outside of Da Lat. The community there speak a language completely independent of Vietnamese and live in a matriarchal society - go women!
After the village, we popped into the world famous Weasel Coffee Plantation. Weasels are fed coffee beans, which they then poop out and these are made into coffee!
A silk factory was next on the agenda. Here we saw how silk was taken from silk worm cocoons and I even held a worm! We then visited Linh An Pagoda which has a giant happy Buddah statue in the garden.
Elephant waterfall was the next stop which involved a lot of climbing (we even climbed behind the waterfall) before a delicious Vietnamese lunch! Lastly, we finished the day at a cricket and rice wine factory. We tried our first crickets and rice wine which I was very nervous for!

Thanks to its poetic and romantic beauty, Xuan Huong Lake has long been an appealing tourist attraction in Dalat. Owning a prime location in the heart of the city, the lake attracts numerous both domestic and foreign tourists.

The surface of the lake is as smooth as crystal mirror reflecting the romantic scenery of Dalat city with pine forest. In addition, spruce-shaded roads much create dreamy beauty for the lake.
