Chinese Navy Ship in Dalian
Hello Everyone,
I came across an old ship of the Chinese Navy and it reminds me of the increasing presence of their Navy. They are putting a lot of resources into making themselves competitive against the US Navy.

STORYLINE:
All 112 people aboard a Chinese jetliner that crashed into the sea off China's northeastern coast are dead, the airline announced on Wednesday as rescuers in boats gave up a search for survivors that had lasted through the night.
The China Northern Airlines plane on a domestic flight from Beijing crashed late on Tuesday just short of its destination in Dalian, a major port city.
A letter issued by the airline that expressed condolences to the families of the dead said the 103 passengers and nine crew aboard the airliner had all perished.
Rescuers have recovered 66 bodies, most of them torn apart in the crash.
A dredge is being used to bring up wreckage submerged under 11 metres (36 feet) of water.
Authorities said they were still looking for the plane's black box flight data and voice recorders.
The McDonnell Douglas MD-82 went down at 9:40 p.m. (1340 GMT) about 20 kilometres (12 miles) from the Dalian airport after the pilot reported a fire.
The majority of passengers were Chinese, most of whom lived in Dalian, China Northern said.
It said eight of those aboard were foreigners - three Japanese and one each from Singapore, India, France, Hong Kong and South Korea.
At the Dalian airport, China Northern set aside a lounge for relatives of victims.
The airline also set up a reception centre in a Dalian hotel, with tables in the lobby for families to register.
It was the second fatal crash in a month of a Chinese airliner and came despite extensive efforts to improve China's air safety after a string of fatal accidents in the 1990s.
An Air China plane crashed into a mountain April 15 near Busan, South Korea. South Korean officials say pilot error might be to blame.

A bit about the Mountains...
(Chinese: 千山国家公园; pinyin: Qiānshān; literally: Thousand mountains)
The Qianshan National Park is a mountainous national park in Liaoning Province, China, 17 km by road, south east of Anshan.(Where we were staying)
The park is in the Qianshan Mountains (Chinese: 千山山脉), named after itself, that extends from the Changbai Mountains in the China-North Korea border, westward to Liaoyang, then southward to Dalian in the southern corner of Liaoning Province.

HIGH SPEED RAIL IN CHINA: We Travel By Bullet Train From Xi'an to Chengdu! // *SECOND CLASS SEATS*
This is our first video for our Chengdu series! We filmed what it's like taking a high speed rail train from Xi'an to Chengdu. The high speed rail is getting busier and busier each year in China as they provide more available routes! Xi'an to Chengdu can be as short as three hours! Plus, the bullet train is quicker getting through security compared to the airport.
Enjoy!

Inside a Secret Chinese Bitcoin Mine
In 2014, before Ethereum and altcoin mania, before ICOs and concerns about Tether and Facebook's Libra, Motherboard gained access to a massive and secretive Bitcoin mine housed within a repurposed factory in the Liaoning Province in rural northeast China.
This is the infrastructure that keeps the digital currency’s decentralized network up and running, and its operators were profiting big time.
The mine we visited was just one of six sites owned by a secretive group of four people, part of a colossal mining operation that, as of our visit, cumulatively generated 4,050 bitcoins a month, equivalent to a monthly gross of $1.5 million as of 2015. Since then, the cryptocurrency mining world has become even more extreme.
