A former New Haven Railroad Electric Multiple Unit Passenger Car, the last surviving parlor/club car from the New Haven languished in a railroad yard in Old Saybrook, CT, until saved by a high school student. After considerable preparation work to make it movable, the car is now on its way to the Danbury Railway Museum, in Danbury, CT

Danbury Railway Museum Washboard Project Time Lapse (Phase 2)
Cleaning up one of world's only remaining Washboards (from the New York, New Haven & Hartford RR) are not an easy job. Phase 2 of the Washboard Refurbishment Project here at Danbury Railway Museum is more cleaning. In this specially made time lapse video, you'll see another half of day's worth of cleaning. This pair of Washboards served in NYNH&H Railroad service and was last used by Metro North as a wire train. They were given to Danbury Railway Museum as is; with a LOT of insulators, catenary equipment and lots more of other stuff. This video was originally 49 mins long but is now about 10. Also it was raining so please excuse the rain drops in the shots. You can also see our RDC #32 runing through the yard. Enjoy! (Taken 3/31/12)

The rs1 was running with a reversed train due to metro north working on the Danbury branch and due to safety we had to enter at the other end of the Museum. ENJOY!

The Naugatuck railroad is is a 19 mile short line situated near Waterbury Connecticut. However, only a few of these miles are in revenue service. It was on these few miles that we rode in the cab of, and then chased the train. This video shows the four shots we got of the 2pm run.

MNCR Danbury Branch Test Train Returns to Danbury
About 20 mins after the normal scheduled Danbury Shuttle departed Danbury, a crew was sent out on another mini bomb set as a test train to West Redding. The purpose of the train was to reenact and incident that had occurred at one of the grade crossings at West Redding. This test required reversing/turning around the mini bomb set at Danbury Yard so that the engine would be facing south instead of north like it normally does. These clips so the train being reversed back to it's original state after returning from the test. *All clips in this video was taken within the yard limits of Danbury Railway Museum. (Taken 3/2/13)
