New Year's Day, Edinburgh 2017 - Scot:Lands - Dance Base Events
On New Year's Day 2017, Scot:Lands was a mystery journey visiting up to 9 venues in Edinburgh's Old Town each offering excellent Scottish entertainment be it music, song, dance, poetry or film. The mystery part was because the buildings to visit were only given a SCOT: code name and the next venue to go to was decided by the spin of an arrow pointing to a corresponding number. The two venues here are called New Scots: Land and Lets Dance:Land and focus on dance routines.

CSBS at Big Dance Edinburgh - Tap Dance demo
Central Scotland Ballet School performed at Big Dance Edinburgh as part of the UK wide dance festival. Students performed a short showcase of jazz, tap and ballet routines, followed by a short ballet adaptation of Beauty and the Beast.
This is the tap section with a solo by Rosie Walker and a Junior Jazz group dance by the P1-2 (age 5-6) students.

Online dating, where you can be whoever you want to be. How this all has effect on life as a single woman. Jump into the journey of universal single´s problems.

Performance is choreographed and produced by Pirita Tuisku.
Finnish Dance Artist based now in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is working as a Dancer, Choreographer and Teacher in Finland as well in Scotland, places like Dance Base, Neu Reekie , Surraa Productions, Oulu Dance Academy. She has also been teaching in National Schools of arts, Moving in to dance Mophatong, Jozi Youth Dance company, South Africa. International dance artist has been running her own dance school Cross Move Company and Surraa Production organization in Finland. Versatile and energetic lady has already over decade of experience working in different fields in dance, working with professional and community groups, choreographed different performances and now bringing her SINGLE LIFE to Fringe festival! This performance has it´s premier in 29.4.2018 part of Storytelling center´s TradFest, it is her second own performances that she has also produced.
