Dayal Bagh, also known as Soami Bagh, is an important tourist destination in Agra. The headquarters of the Radha Soami religious order, Dayal Bagh is famous as being the memorial of Shiv Dayal Sahib, the founder of the Radha Saomi Satsang Movement. Founded in 1861, the Radha Saomi Movement infuses elements of Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism and Sikhism.
The memorial, which is essentially a combination of a temple, church, vihara and mosque was built by Dayal Sahib’s followers to worship him. The Dayal Bagh complex is also home to the Dayal Bagh Temple that stands at a height of 110 feet and is believed to be built in 1861. Set in the midst of a beautiful landscape, Dayal Bagh is visited by many devotees every day.Dayalbagh, a tribute to the founder of Radha Swami faith is 15 kms from Agra main city. Also known as Swamibagh, there is a samadhi of the founder of Radha Swami faith, 'Swamiji Maharaj'. The main structure is a majestic building, 110-feet in height, built of pure white marble. Construction began in February 1904 and still continues. It is of the belief that construction will never end at Swami Bagh. Looks like Taj Mahal, the carvings in stone, using a combination or coloured marble, are life-like and not seen anywhere else in India. Dayal Bagh Temple is a beautiful religious place in Agra. The temple has a charm that will mesmerise you to the core. here are even many instances of devotees being cured from different ailments by the grace of the Lord . Make a visit to Dayal Bagh Temple for a unique experience. It is a peaceful place to spend some time away from the usual life. The structure makes it an attractive monument. After you visit the gorgeous Taj Mahal, do make a visit to this amazing place.

We had an amazing time in Agra, seeing the majestic Taj Mahal, Agra fort and the Dayal Bagh community.
We also spent time at Sheroes Hangout which supports and empowers women who are victims of acid attacks. The work Sheroes women do is amazing and inspiring. Having been a victim of burns myself, this work is close to my heart.

5 good Breakfast places in Agra | India: Bedhai puri, kachori & Jalebi
Residents of Agra prefer 3 things in breakfast: Bedhai puri, Kachori and Jalebi. I also noticed some places where people were having Sweet lassi in breakfast along with Bedhai puri.

Bedai puri is made with filling of urad dal, food joints put little curd on alloo ki sabzi that adds some flavour to the combination. I spent 6 days at Agra, ended up having 5 breakfast meals out of hotel. Details of places visited by me are given below.
1.Deviram: Pratappura crossing, Rakabganj, Agra
Famous for breakfast of Bedhai puri and lassi.

2. Sattolala Kachori wale: Famous for sweets and Bedhai puri in breakfast. I had Bedhai puri and jalebi in breakfast at this place.

3. Bhagat Halwai & sons: Famous sweets shop at Dayal bagh road. Serves breakfast of Bedhai puri with alloo ki sabzi and sitafal.

4. Munna lal Mithai wale:
Address: 29/156, Fatak namak mandi, Agra.
Landmark - near Fuwara chowk, fountain chowk.

5. Anokhe parantha corner: Famous for stuffed paranthas, This is a road side stall, taste of the parantha was good.
Address: Opposite The Gateway hotel, Fatehapbad road, Agra.
