Follow along as I go for a mid-summer run at Wisconsin's most popular state park, Devil's Lake. I run the lake shore path for the first half of the run before I make my way up the East Bluff for some great views of the lake. The run was a beautiful 5.5 mile loop. DEVILS LAKE TRIP | BARABOO WISCONSIN USA
Devil's Lake is an endorheic (closed drainage) lake in the South Range of the Baraboo Range, about two miles south of Baraboo, Wisconsin, in Sauk County, Wisconsin, USA. The lake is one of the primary attractions of Devil's Lake State Park. It is also a popular recreation destination for watercraft, fishing, hiking, and climbing.

The first weekend of October, 6 Webelos and their parents set out to have some fun doing some activities and camping. The nights were cold. The days were clear and blue skies. We built fires, prepared lunch and trail mix, hiked along the lake, climbed a big mountain, made more fire, baked a pizza in a dutch oven, danced and hike some more. Great weather for a great weekend.
