Hiking Coyote Lake - Harvey Bear Ranch
Coyote Lake (also known as Coyote Reservoir) is an artificial lake in Santa Clara County, California, between Morgan Hill and Gilroy.
The reservoir is impounded by Coyote Dam, a 140-foot (43 m) high, 980-foot (300 m) long, earth and rock dam built in 1936. It holds 23,244 acre feet (28,671,009) of water when full. It is the second largest reservoir owned by the Santa Clara Valley Water District.
A 4,595-acre county park (Coyote-Bear) surrounds the reservoir, and provides camping (RVs and tents), fishing (catch-and-release), picnicking, and hiking activities. Swimming is not allowed by order of the Santa Clara Valley Water District. Power boating, jet-skiing, water-skiing, sailing, canoeing/kayaking and fishing are all allowed in the reservoir. The boat launch ramp is located two miles north of the visitor center. It has two docks, a 3-lane concrete ramp, paved parking and a restroom. For fisherman, the lake contains bluegill, black crappie, channel catfish, carp and black bass. The reservoir is closed to all boating between mid-October and mid-April.

These unbelievable animals have set world records & no they aren't photoshopped not even the cow that's taller than most people!

8. The World’s Highest Ranking Sheep
Lance Corporal Derby XXX happens to be the world’s highest ranking sheep. Derby can be found serving in the British armed forces as part of the Mercian (mercy Ann) Regiment. He received his promotion from private to Colonel last year on September 1, 2015, by Brigadier Andrew Williams. Since he is a serving member of the armed forces he does get paid for it which covers all of his medical bills, food, and veterinarian visits. He’s also given a yearly vacation that he takes during Christmas.
7. The World’s Highest Ranking Camel
This dromedary (drama dairy) camel named Bert, which actually stands for Be Enthusiastic Responsible and True, was officially declared the world's highest ranking law-enforcement camel back on May 27, 2003. Bert was formally accepted as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, back on April 5, 2003. He often goes out on patrol accompanied by his handler Nance Fite. Bert weighs an impressive 1,770 pounds and stands at almost 7 feet tall. The 19-year-old camel is well admired by the local children in hospitals that he often visits.
6. The World's Tallest Bovine
This 6'4 cow from northern Illinois named Blossom will officially go down in history as the tallest cow ever according to Guinness World Records, well until a taller cow comes along. Her new title was given to her back in 2014 and unfortunately, not even a year later Blossom would pass away at the age of 13 on May 26. She ultimately weighed 2,000 pounds and it should be noted that Holstein cows usually only weigh up to 1,500 pounds, while producing more than 72,000 pounds of milk in just one year.
5. The World's Longest Snake in Captivity
Medusa, a fitting name for this reticulated python, is measured at being 25 feet and 2 inches long. This makes Medusa the longest living snake that is in captivity and dethroning the previous holder, a python named Fluffy who died in 2010 due to a tumor. Medusa can be found spending her days at Full Moon Productions in Kansas City, Missouri where she participates in a haunted house. Weighing up to 350 pounds, she lives off a diet of hogs, rabbits, and deer given to her every two weeks. Medusa’s been known to purr when she’s happy, but if she starts hissing then you know she’s mad.
4. The Largest Living Cat
Hercules here happens to be an adult male liger, the hybridization of a lion mating with a tigress, who happens to be the largest cat alive in the world. Hercules currently lives at the Myrtle Beach Safari wildlife reserve that is located in South Carolina in the United States. He’s measured at having a complete length of 10 feet and weighing just over 920 pounds. Ligers are known for being much larger than their parents as they don’t have a gene that restricts their growth. Hercules also has a brother that’s a little taller than him but doesn’t weigh as much.
3. The Steer With The World’s Largest Horns
This photo might look photoshopped but it’s real all right. This photo is of a steer named Lurch who was known for having some pretty big horns. His horns were actually so large that he holds the Guinness World Record for the steer with the largest horn circumference measuring at more than 38 inches and being almost 8 feet from one tip to the other. Lurch was an African Watusi bull who was born in Missouri back in 1995 and became quite the celebrity. He was even on three live segments of the Ellen Degeneres Show. Sadly, Lurch passed away back on May 22, 2010, at the age of 15.
2. The Longest Ears On A Dog Ever
The title of longest ears on a dog ever was given to a Bloodhound from St. Joseph, Illinois named Tigger back on September 29, 2004. His owners Christina and Bryan Flessner thought he’d be a good candidate and what do you know he won! His right ear was measured at being almost 14 inches and his left ear was a little shorter at thirteen and a half inches long , respectively. This isn’t Tigger’s only award. He’s won over 180 Best of Breed awards, along with several show titles. He was inducted into the Bloodhound “Hall of Fame” back in 2003 and sadly passed away in October of 2009.
1. The Longest Fur On A Rabbit
This rabbit named Franchesca is the owner of all that luscious fur and the title for the longest fur on a rabbit. Her fur is measured at being almost 14 and a half inches long and it requires a great amount of not only care, but grooming as well says her owner Dr. Betty Chu. Dr. Chu happens to be an expert on English Angora rabbits, the same breed as Franchesca. Dr. Chu and Franchesca both reside in Morgan Hill, California. Franchesca’s title was given to her back on August 17, 2014.
