Higobashi Station (From Patisserie Moncher Osaka Dojima -Main branch)- WalkingMapTV/堂岛蛋糕卷 Mon cher本店
How to get to the Higobashi Station from Patisserie Moncher Osaka Dojima - Main branch, Japan.
Dojima Roll is the specialty of Patisserie Mon Cher which has a main shop in the Dojimahama area of Osaka. It is an extremely popular product that Osaka is known for, and is priced at 1,260 JPY for a whole roll, 680 JPY for a half roll, and 324 JPY per slice (all incl. tax).
The cream, made with several different kinds of carefully-selected raw milk from Hokkaido, and completed with a proprietary manufacturing method unlike any other in the world, is fresh as freshly squeezed milk and has a taste which even people who normally do not like cream will love. Also, the softness of the sponge made with mixed flour is adjusted differently each day according to the temperature and the level of humidity, and is baked in order to keep it nice and moist, so this cake is to die for.

OSAKA INFO :
Nanba Bridge
A bridge with a total length of approx. 190 m, along Sakai-suji Avenue, spanning the Tosabori River, Nakanoshima Park and Dojima River. This bridge features four stone statues of brave lions, located at its north and south ends, so it is commonly called the Lion Bridge. The pairs of lions, one with mouth open and the other with mouth closed, are called Ah-Un Lions. In the Edo era, Naniwa Bridge was a wooden bridge along Naniwabashi-suji Avenue (located west of Sakai-suji Avenue), connecting Hinoue Town in the north and Kitahama 1-chome in the south. The bridge, with a total length of approx. 207 m and width of approx. 5.7 m, was under the direct control of the Tokugawa Shogunate Government. Since the bridge was arched, the view from the bridge was splendid, overlooking 16 nearby bridges and the mountains in the distance. The bridge was a popular spot for viewing fireworks and enjoying the cool of the evening in summer. In 1912, when the municipal electric railway of the Sakaisuji Line was extended from Kitahama to Tenjinbashi 6-chome in the north, the bridge was relocated to its current location. The bridge, which features classical lampposts and grand stone steps leading to Nakanoshima Park, was designed excellently to harmonize with its surrounding urban landscape. Many historic buildings are located nearby, including Osaka Securities Exchange.

(Film Look)
08/09/2015
The Umeda Sky Building (梅田スカイビル Umeda Sukai Biru?) is the nineteenth-tallest[1] building in Osaka Prefecture, Japan, and one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. It consists of two 40-story towers that connect at their two uppermost stories, with bridges and an escalator crossing the wide atrium-like space in the center.[2] It is located in Kita-ku.
Located in the Umeda district of Kita-ku, the building was originally conceived in 1988 as the City of Air project, which planned to create four interconnected towers in northern Osaka.[citation needed] Eventually, practical considerations brought the number of towers down to two.
The 173 m (568 ft)[3] building was designed by Hiroshi Hara[citation needed]. It was constructed by Takenaka Corporation[citation needed] and was completed in 1993.[4]
The building features a rooftop observatory, The Floating Garden Observatory, as well as an underground market that attempts to recreate the atmosphere of Osaka in the early 20th century.[5][unreliable source?] At the base of the towers is an urban garden with walking trails and water features.[citation needed]
Umeda (梅田) is a major commercial and business district in Kita-ku, Osaka, Japan, and the city's main northern railway terminus (Ōsaka Station, Umeda Station).
The area is notable for its comparatively high concentration of tall buildings, of which those in Nishi-Umeda, Dojima and Nakanoshima form a prominent skyscraper district.[1] Four of the city's largest department stores (Hanshin, Hankyu, Daimaru, and Isetan) are located here, as well as popular shopping and tourist areas such as HEP Five, Osaka Grand Front, and Umeda Sky Building.
The district's name means plum field. It was originally written as buried field (埋田), because the area had been agricultural and was filled in to accommodate the new train station in the 1870s. There are several theories as to why the kanji changed, although most people[who?] seem to believe that the old characters merely carried a negative connotation.[citation needed]

Walking Osaka 2 - Tenma, Nakazakicho

Walking Osaka 11 - Hankyu Sanbangai, Subway Umeda, JR Osaka Sta.
