DONAUINSEL, WIEN, AUSTRIA
The Donauinsel (Danube Island) is a long narrow island, in central Vienna, Austria, between the Danube river and the parallel excavated channel Neue Donau (New Danube). The island is 21.1 km in length, but is only 70–210 metres broad. The New Danube waterway is practically an elongated (swimming) lake, technically a diluvian bed.

Beautiful park near the Danube in the northern part of Vienna, Austria. People come here for bike riding, skating, flying kites, jogging and walking. There are also nice playgrounds for the kids.

Wien mit Donauinsel, VIC und Prater
Diesmal war ich in Wien und hab von der Donauinsel einen kleinen Rundflug zum Sonnenuntergang übernommen. Im Hintergrund ist der für Wien berühmte Prater und das VIC ( Vienna International Centre ) mit dem schwarzen Turm Wiens zu sehen in dessen 57 Stock sich die Bar/Lounge/Restaurant 57 befindet welche definitiv einen Besuch wert ist und mir einen super Abend beschert hat

My wife, my Father and Mother in-laws and myself took a summer trip to Vienna for a long weekend. These are just some of the videos I took while I was there.
The Danube Island (Donauinsel) is an artificial island dividing the Danube from the Old Danube. It's now a large recreation area for the Viennese.

In Vienna, the Danube is omnipresent – whether in the form of the Donau-Auen National Park or Old Danube, Danube Island or Danube Canal. This also means that the river banks and beaches are close by. The Viennese use it for recreation, games and sports or for pleasurable hours in the beach cafés, bars and restaurants on the Old Danube, as well as Copa Beach and Sunken City on Danube Island.

ডোনাউইঞ্ছেল হচ্ছে একটি সংকীর্ণ দ্বীপ যা অবস্থিত ইউরোপের দেশ অস্ট্রিয়ার একেবারে রাজধানী ভিয়েনাতেই। এটি একটি টুরিস্ট স্পট বলতে পারেন।
এর আশে পাশে খুবি সুন্দর। ভিডিওটি রাতে করা তাই আশে পাশে কিছু দেখা যাচ্ছে না। অবশ্য দিনের আলোতেও একটি ভিডিও আপলোড করবো।
ভিডিওতে দেখা যাচ্ছে কিছু সাদা রাজ হাঁস পানির উপর সাঁতার কাটছে। দৃশ্য টা আমার চোখে অসাধারণ লেগেছে তাই ভিডিও করা আর আপনাদের সাথে শেয়ার করা।

HYPERSAX live at the DONAU INSEL FEST 1992, Vienna, Austria
1992, on June 28th Austrian POP JAZZ Group HYPERSAX performing on the Main stage at the annual Donauinselfest in Vienna.
The band members at that time were:

The band was playing mostly tunes from HYPERSAX´s first album (1986) Texan cats and the second album (1992) called Stepdance.
These cuts were taken from a private video cam, recorded by Susi Kreuzberger. The sound came also from that cam and changed quality, as the cam moved around.
No corrections have been made on the original sound recording.
The first cut is called: Hyper sax from the CD Texan Cats followed by Stepdance from the CD Stepdance.

AUSTRIA-VIENNA, UNO CITY ; Danube - O l d Danube - recreation area
The UNO CITY was built from 1973-1979 in the 22nd district of Vienna. Since then, this area continues to grow in Kaisermühlen. The tallest tower - the DC Tower - was built in 2010 and is the highest in Austria, with 255 meters. In front of the UNO CITY is the DANUBE, which was regulated in 1870 with a dam and a flood area, and in 1970 with a Danube island and a relief channel; the DANUBE was further renovated and regulated. In this film we look at the UN CITY of N-East, from the so-called Old Danube. Two centuries ago, this Old Danube was still one of the main rivers of the Danube around Vienna. Today, this arm of the Danube is no longer a flowing water, a pure biotope with excellent water.
The name Kaisermühlen comes from the 18th century, when there were still many mills. Today it is a recreation area near
the center of Vienna. -Water is contolled by the Vienna Goverment.-

Die UNO CITY wurde von 1973–1979 im 22. Wiener Bezirk gebaut. Seither wächst dieses Areal in Kaisermühlen weiter.
Der höchste Turm - der DC Tower - wurde 2010 gebaut und ist der höchste Österreichs, mit 255 Metern. Vor der UNO CITY liegt die DONAU, die 1870 mit einem Damm und einem Überschwemmungsgebiet reguliert wurde, und 1970 mit einer Donau-Insel und einem Entlastungsgerinne weitergehend saniert und weiter reguliert wurde. In diesem Film sehen wir auf die UNO CITY von N-O, von der sogenannten Alten Donau. Diese Alte Donau war vor 2 Jahrhunderten noch einer der Hauptströme der Donau um Wien. Heute ist dieser Arm der Donau kein fließendes Gewässer mehr, ein reines Biotop mit ausgezeichnetem Wasser. Der Name Kaisermühlen kommt aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, als hier noch zahlreiche Mühlen standen. Heute ist es ein Erholungsgebiet nahe dem Wiener Stadtzentrum. Das Gewässer wird von der Stadtregierung ständig kontrolliert.-
