Dynamo stadium is the most modern arena in Europe that has been completed in December of 2018. Stadium is a home of Dynamo Moscow team.
Stadium’s unique feature is its design, this is the only arena in the world that is a joint stadium for both football and basketball/hockey/concert arena and has a panoramic restaurant in the middle overviewing both fields.
Arena is conveniently located 15 min away from Kremlin and only 30 km from international airport Sheremetyevo with an easy access from any city point as it is located on major city highway – Leningradskiy prospect.
Central Dynamo Stadium was was built in 1928 and was able to hold 36,540 people. The stadium was one of the venues of the football tournament of the 1980 Summer Olympics.
Michael Jackson brought his HIStory World Tour to Dynamo Stadium in 1996 and Deep Purple performed there the same year.
Dynamo Stadium closed for demolition in 2008, and was recently opened as a new multifunctional arena in the end of 2018.
Football matches (capacity – 26 049 people),and concerts (capacity – up to 33 000 people). The multifunctional arena has a capacity of 12,273 people, but it may be transformed depending on the event.The maximum capacity comprises 14,000 people.
VIP suites are located on a separate level in the second tire of tribunes.
Their capacity varies from 12 to 20 people; a VVIP suite for 60 people.
Panoramic Platinum restaurant is located on the 6th floor of the stadium and oversees both football field and hockey arena, available for partial or exclusive rental.

Стадион Динамо в Москве будет присвоено имя легендарного вратаря Льва Яшина. Стадион будет приспособлен как для футбольных матчей, так и для хоккея. Арена будет вмещать 26 тысяч зрителей. ⚽The VTB Arena is the proposed new stadium of FC Dynamo. It has a planned capacity of 33,000 seats, which can be expanded to 45,000 if the stadium gets selected as a playing venue for the 2018 World Cup.
First plans for the stadium were presented in the summer of 2010. The stadium will be built on the site of the old Dynamo Stadium that got closed in 2008. Part of the facade, that is listed as a monument, will be preserved in the new stadium design, though most of the old stadium will be demolished......

Erick van Egeraats winning design for VTB Arena Park (Dynamo Moscow Stadium)
On 28 June 2010 this movie was presented to the jury of the closed competition for VTB Arena Park in Moscow. The 300,000-m2 VTB Arena Park is one of the largest projects that will be developed in the Russian Federation in the coming years.
VTB Arena Park comprises the redevelopment of the Dynamo Moscow stadium and its surrounding park. Together with Russian partner Mikhail Posokhin, Erick van Egeraat proposed a contemporary multifunctional urban regenerator, that will play a key role in transforming its wider surroundings. The 300,000-m2 multifunctional culture, health and sports centre will be developed on a 116,000-m2 site and will comprise a 45,000-seat Stadium Arena for Dynamo Moscow, a 10,000-seat Arena Hall, a Retail and Entertainment complex, restaurants, parking and other facilities.
VTB Arena Park – a Sports Block in the Center of Moscow
The world was just getting ready to discuss the World Football Cup, but here at Mercator, the passion for football was already running high. The creative team was arguing about the best alternative for representing the project for the renovation of the Dinamo team’s home stadium.
The VTB-Arena is the new name of the unique facility, which will consist of a football stadium and a multifunctional athletic and show venue – all under one roof. Our task was to speak not only about the stadium, but also about the large-scale reconstruction of the park, as well as the construction of the Sports Academy and a new block with residential and administrative buildings.
Interviews with architects, engineers and project managers; aerial photography and shooting at the restorers’ workshop; computer graphics, archival materials and even interviews with football players – the material we gathered would be sufficient to create a feature film. It was quite hard for us to surrender certain fragments, but the genre has its rules.

SCRIPT
Fans of FC Zenit St. Petersburg broke through security barriers during a match against FC Dynamo Moscow and attacked a player of the rival team at the Petrovskiy Arena, Sunday.
Fans invaded the pitch, halting the match just 4 minutes before the end of regular time when the title-chasing Zenit, managed by ex-Tottenham coach Andre Villas-Boas, was losing 4-2 at its home stadium.
One fan approached Vladimir Granat, captain of Dynamo Moscow and defender in Russian national team, and punched him in the head.
The players and coaches of the two teams were forced to leave the pitch as Russian riot police detained those on the pitch. In an official statement, Zenit condemned the hooligan actions of it's fans and said the club was collaborating with the police to identify those involved.
