Portland Maine Shore Excursion
We took the Real Portland Maine Tour, and what a fantastic day! We were given the personalized home-town version tour. The tour guide even took a detour to drive me to the nearest and safest Bank of America ATM location. The best and most photographed lighthouse in the continental United States was sure worth the tour. A truly special tour because all 13 close friends were together in one large van provided by The Real Portland Tour.
PORTLAND, ME - On a Hot Summer Day
Enjoy this tour of Maine's largest city. The video footage was taken on August 28th, 2018 from morning to early afternoon. It was a very hot day - roughly 95 Fahrenheit. The main downtown area of the city is on a peninsula stretching towards the Atlantic Ocean. Most of this tour is located on that peninsula, going to a couple neighborhoods there. Note: many maps use Downtown and Old Port synonymously , as well as East End and Munjoy Hill.
ONE OF THE BEST BEACH IN SANDWICH, MASSACHUSETTS,USA
MAY 28,2019 #sandwichmassachusetts #usbeach #travelvlog
Hi Everyone, this is Marissa again. Today's video I'm taking you to one of the best beach here in Massachusetts. I am going to take you down the river bank first and then to the famous boardwalk in Sandwich, Massachusetts. The Sandwich Boardwalk is built over low dines and Mill Creek. The original boardwalk was destroyed by Hurricane Bob in October 1991. Residents and businesses owner of this area had donated and purchased new planks to rebuilt the walk and engraved many with special messages.
As you meander across the newly reconstructed 1,350-foot boardwalk. You will notice funny quips, memorials to lovers, family members and dedication to boats. The walkways vantage points provides striking views of the Cape Cod Bay where you can watch the marsh grass swaying against the hazy summer horizon. On a closer look you can find various aquatic wildlife in the area. Bird watching is the of the popular pastime in the area. The beach town of Sandwich is home to the endangered piping plover and several species of tern. In order to provide a safe nesting haven for the birds. Areas of the beach are off-limits in the early summer and late spring.
The boardwalk ends at the shoreline. You will also find a platform overlooking the bay as it winds itself around the beach. During clear day you can see all the way to Provincetown, located at the very end of the very tip of Cape Cod. The boardwalk and the beach offers picturesque and accessible for swimming and satisfying combination of nature lovers and for all those who loves the beach.
I hope you all enjoy this video and please don't forget to give me a thumbs up and subscribe and hit the notification bell. Thank you.

If there is one place you want to be
It’s where your senses will be filled.
A place where you have a connection
Where you belong.
Not just a place to visit,
but a place to reflect and to create a lifetime of memories.
Hearing the waves crash and feeling the sun beat down
You will be overwhelmed by Maine's beauty.
It’s a place to stop and smell the flowers.
And to embrace life’s precious moments
and it's fragility.
Where at sea you have guides.
And as the tides change,
You will sail together.
And your bonds will be made
It’s all you need.
Where the mornings embrace you,
as these are the ones to cherish.
And this energy, will flourish within you
Its coastline will replenish your soul.
This is Summer in Maine.

Cycling Trip USA Florida - Maine
Friedrich Müntjes loves cycling.
With his wife Carola he has already made several excellent tours in Europe. They rode over the Alps from Munich as far as Naples. Right across Switzerland and from the Baltic to Bavaria.
On retiring, at the end of 2014, Friedrich needed a new challenge. Right across the United States of America from New York to San Francisco was his first idea But he didn't want to wait until summer. So he changed the plan at short notice and the exciting tour along the east coast began in March 2015. All alone, he completed the 2800 miles tour in 64 stages.
Friedrich Müntjes takes us with him on his journey to the most important sites of the early settlers. Old and new are strung together like a pearl necklace.
The whole stretch is available as a GPS file and the 64 stages can be downloaded individually.

this was a brief clip i took while in the general assistance building in downtown
Portland Maine. After an hour of slowly getting my energy drained from me because of a greedy security guard (who was behind me as i filmed this) i filmed a brief glimpse into what is known as sandy's psychosis. it's not something you will necessarily enjoy! but i'll say it anyway!
DIALOG YOU MAY PICK UP ON:

New Brunswick into Maine on Interstate 95's North End
This video begins in Woodstock, New Brunswick, and heads directly towards the US/Canadian border, where Interstate 95 begins. The drive follows I-95 south, past numerous trees, to the town of Howland -- where I stopped, just because I needed a break.
MyDrivelapse.com and Takemytrip.com provide driving videos and stories to help you plan your trip. Check out hundreds of videos on my YouTube channel. Subscribe if you like it! Dozens of new videos are on the way in the coming weeks.
I made this trip in early October, 2016. Video shot with a Brinno TLC-200 Pro time-lapse camera, mounted on my roof with a homemade magnetic case. I travel with two Brinno cameras - one facing forward, the other in reverse. Sometimes the reverse camera captures better video (fewer raindrops and bugs hit the rear-view lens).
