2018 NEBRASKA STATE BRIDGE CONTEST EDGERTON CENTER AURORA
2018 Nebrska State Bridge Building Contest, held Mar 3, 2018, at the Edgerton Explorit Center, Aurora, Nebraska. The model bridges were weighed and inspected for compliance to the rules for construction. They were then placed under load until they broke. The bridges with the highest efficiencies (load held divided by bridge weight) are then ranked. #6 & #8 (numbers in the video) were ranked First & Second and are eligible to attend the International Bridge Building Contest in Chicago!

Return to the Lincoln Highway at Stuhr Museum
This summer, the feature exhibit at the Stuhr Museum is titled Return to the Lincoln Highway. The exhibit looks at the route of the famous Lincoln Highway as it crossed Nebraska and Hall County. The exhibit continues until September 8th.

HAARP around Omaha Nebraska Apr 25 2011 ?
A screen capture of something interesting I saw while watching the Intellicast weather map through the night. A large square anomaly in the area of Omaha Nebraska began appearing. Could this be caused by or some telltale indication of HAARP usage to fire up all the Thunderstorms and Tornadoes through the midwest?

SkyWheel - 5.6 meter K'NEX Ferris Wheel Collapses
If the set-up of SkyWheel would have worked out, SkyWheel would have been the tallest K'NEX Ferris Wheel in the world. Due to the unclosed outer ring during the set-up, the hub and diagonals were loaded in inappropriate way, which caused snapping pieces and failing connections. It took several months to build all of the components, which makes it extra hard to accept the ending of this project. Although this footage is heartbreaking, it is too spectacular to keep back.
Stuhr Museum Employees Carve Jack O Lanterns for All Hallows Eve
Employees at Stuhr Museum of the Prairie Pioneer transformed pumpkins into jack o' lanterns to prepare for the museum's All Hallows Eve events taking place this weekend. The jack o' lanterns will be used as beacons to guide party atendees to the many different activities.
