Don't Bomb Syria! - Glasgow, Scotland
November 30th 2015 - On hallowed St Andrews Day another event coincided with the day of the patron saint as a crowd of protesters gathered to support the anti bombing raid on Syria.
Following on the recent protests at 10 Downing Street, citizens in Glasgow rallied just outside the Royal Concert Hall in Buchanan street voicing their dismay of PM David Cameron's mandate agreement to order a fleet aerial bombing raids over Syria.

Student Walkout & Protests Against Cuts Glasgow City Centre
Demonstrations against cuts took place as Glasgow university and school students walked out of their places of education gathering together with more student protestors from various educational institutions as they went. Hyndland Secondary and Glasgow Uni students met up for a march around Glasgow University campus where they held a rally then headed down to the town centre via other colleges and places of study including Glasgow School of Art. They then made their way down to Strathclyde Uni which was already being occupied by students and gave their support and held a noisy and energetic demo outside with much chanting and drumming and waving of placards with some choice words of criticism for the various politicians responsible for the cuts which go back to New Labour Brown and Old Tory Thatcher. Gordon Brown and Nick Clegg's faces can be seen on some placards as targets for criticism. Clegg and the LibDems are especially blamed for being traitors and reneging on their election promises about university tuition fees. Finally the protestors made their way to George Square for a rally. A small group of students sing a chant: Hurry up and die Margaret Thatcher. She was the first who really started the ball rolling as far as savage cuts in jobs and services is concerned. New Labour under Blair and Brown continued and developed her ideas even further and now we are back to the Tories again. Just when it seemed that you couldn't get worse cuts than under New Labour the new Conservative coalition government has shown that with the Liberal Democrats' help it is indeed possible to get even worse. This video covers the part of the demonstration outside Strathclyde University where you can see students inside with their placards and covers the march up to George Square and the rally there. The student action is specifically in protest at proposed cuts in education and the hiking up of university fees. The Scottish government is thinking of bringing in a graduate tax which is more likely to go ahead if the decision on the increase in tuition fees in England gets passed by the Tory-LibDem coalition government. There have been some major demonstrations by students throughout the UK, and some rioting has taken place in London due to the anger felt by students over the proposals to basically deny anyone who is not rich the right to a higher education. More protests are planned. Update 8/12/10: Another occupation is underway in the Glasgow Uni Theatre 9/12/10: The decision is being made about fees. There has been talk of dissent from some LibDems but their leaders are urging them to all vote with the Tories to allow fees to be increased to over £9000 a year. Mass protests are expected around the country.

Harwick Hall Home of the British Airborne Forces 12th May 2019
This video was filmed on Sunday 12th of May 2019 during the memorial to all those that passed through the Airborne depot during WW2, and were based just bellow the Hall in the grounds of Hardwick Hall to the right of the Lake. It was attended by members of 4 Para, the Catterick Parachute Regiment training platoon and members of the Parachute Regiment Association. The day was opened with a display by the Red Devils free fall team. A fantastic day was had by all.
