Bridal Veil Falls Waterfall Highway 50 El Dorado County Pollock Pines Northern California Lake Tahoe
Bridal Veil Falls waterfall/waterfalls along Hwy/Highway 50 in El Dorado County (Pollock Pines CA - Northern California USA) heading towards a trip to South Lake Tahoe (Sierra Nevada mountains). It is along Hwy/Highway 50, on the side of the road. You could easily miss this nice gentle waterfall if you miss the road sign that this falls is coming up in the next hundred feet or so, but it is there on the right side of Hwy 50 traveling towards South Lake Tahoe, it is located at around 7800 US-Hwy/Highway 50, Pollock Pines, CA 95726 (El Dorado National Forest). Our timing was totally off on this one, there are certain times of the year that the Bridal Veil Falls waterfall has a lot more water falling in comparison to the one as you see in this video.

Baldwin Beach, Lake Tahoe
A popular destination in summer, Baldwin Beach is the largest sandy beach on the west shore of Lake Tahoe (California side). What most never see is the expansive estuary behind it, with stunning, unfettered views of the mountains in the background.
To me, the most notable element of this shot (besides the stunningly beautiful subject itself) is the long, smooth pan of the estuary starting at 02:12. It's over a minute long, yet no jumps or undesirable speed changes.

We hiked the Rubicon trail located in South Lake Tahoe. The hike we took was about 4.5 miles. we experienced some very beautiful views and laugh a lot along the way.

South Lake Tahoe is the most populous city in El Dorado County, California, United States, in the Sierra Nevada. As its name suggests, the city is located on the southern shore of Lake Tahoe.
The city's population was 21,403 at the 2010 census, down from 23,609 at the 2000 census. The city extends about 5 miles (8 km) west-southwest along U.S. Route 50, also known as Lake Tahoe Boulevard. The east end of the city, on the California–Nevada state line right next to the town of Stateline, Nevada, is mainly geared towards tourism, with T-shirt shops, restaurants, hotels, and Heavenly Mountain Resort with the Nevada casinos just across the state line in Stateline. The western end of town is mainly residential, and clusters around The Y, the X-shaped intersection of US 50, State Route 89, and the continuation of Lake Tahoe Boulevard after it loses its federal highway designation.
