Hotel Dunas Mirador Maspalomas Gran Canaria tour, in this video we show you around the outside of the hotel during our stay here in 2011. Its a great hotel with lots to do and 2 pools, 1 small heated pool and a larger NOT heated (a little too cold for me) The food was great and the Island is lovely.

WALKTHROUGH + ROOM Dunas Mirador Maspalomas - Gran Canaria - 2016, usefull to make your dicision to go here. We had a nice sunny vacation, but the rooms are hot and there is no airco ( you can rent a van), no real teen disco ( kinda disappointed for our teenage girl), not really something to do around the hotel, but nice workers en great pool! We rented a car and we can recommand that to anyone...real nice (center of the island and the left/north of the island ). Also the waterparc is fun and the zoo is great!

Vegueta, the oldest quarter, is both atmospheric and fashionable, with a fine selection of boutiques and cool bars. At the other end of town, the sweeping arc of Playa de las Canteras provides you with the tantalising possibility of taking a plunge in between sightseeing and shopping. Venture into the confusing maze of streets behind the beach and you'll find excellent restaurants serving more than the usual array of Canarian dishes. Las Palmas is an authentic Spanish working city and while there are areas you wouldn’t walk at night with a camera slung round your neck, overall, you should feel perfectly safe here.

This spectacular viewpoint is in the far west of Gran Canaria and hangs over the sea at the top of a steep cliiff edge with spectacular views out over the Atlantic Ocean. From the viewpoint you get a clear view of a zigzag wall of sea cliffs called the “Dragon’s Tail”. Turning back to look at the island you see the La Arena Valley and the wide, green La Aldea de San Nicolás.
A car trip around Gran Canaria
The viewpoint carpark, on the GC-200 road, has informative panels and is an essential stop on a drive around the island. Everyone should walk down the step stone steps to the balcony hanging out over the ocean. The views are so impressive that you won’t want to leave until you’ve taken in full range of sights and colours and the scent of the ocean. The journey has to continue eventually as there’s still so much to see.
