A French dinner for the Queen - in the kitchens of the Elysee Palace
On the occasion of D-Day commemoration ceremonies, the Queen of England is paying an official state visit in France and will be attending a banquet as the guest of honor at the official residence of the President of the Republic of France, the Elysée Palace. This documentary film will describe the event from the kitchens of power, the true vitrine of French gastronomy which has been on Unesco's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 2010. We will follow the work of the teams of the famous chef Guillaume Gomez, from the conception of the menus to the selection of products with the best French producers as well as the installation of the reception hall. The French President Emmanuel Macron hosts the visiting leaders at a lunch at the Elysee Palace on Monday, September 30. Around 30 foreign leaders gather on Monday on Paris for the funeral of the former President Jacques Chirac, who died last Thursday at the age of 86. Over the weekend lots of people visited Chirac coffin at the Hotel des Invalides in Paris, to pay tribute to the former president of France.

French First Lady Brigitte Macron greeted US First Lady Melania Trump at the Elysee Palace in Paris for the city's upcoming WWI armistice centenary commemorations, on Saturday.
The commemorations mark the 100th anniversary of the Armistice, the ceasefire signed at Compiegne on November 11, 1918 ending the Great War.
French President Emmanuel Macron will host around 60 world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Trump for a ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe.

UK Royals visit French president at Elysee Palace in Paris
(17 Mar 2017) UK ROYALS VISIT FRENCH PRESIDENT AT ELYSEE PALACE IN PARIS
Britain's Prince William and his wife Kate were welcomed by French President Francois Hollande at the Elysee Palace on Friday (17 MAR. 2017).
While the couple has visited France several times, it's William's first official visit to Paris since his mother Diana was killed in a 1997 car accident in the city.
After their meeting with Hollande, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will meet victims and first responders from the deadly 2015 attacks on the Bataclan concert hall and other Paris sites. They will also attend a France-Wales rugby match on Saturday.
The visit comes amid anxiety across Europe over Brexit, as British Prime Minister Theresa May prepares to trigger this month Article 50, allowing Britain to leave the 28-nation EU.

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived at the Elysee Palace in Paris on Monday for the “Normandy Four” high-level meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The Russian leader can be seen walking through the palace courtyard and being greeted by French President Emmanuel Macron, before entering the building.
Normandy Four was created in July 2014 to secure a peaceful settlement to the conflict in eastern Ukraine. The leaders of Russia, Ukraine, France and Germany first discussed the settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine during the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy. Since then, many telephone conversations and summits have taken place between the leaders of the four countries, and foreign ministers have also had contacts.

▶️U.S. President Donald Trump arrived at the Elysee Palace on Saturday morning (November 10) for a bilateral meeting with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.
????The American and French presidents discussed their differences about European security on Saturday, the morning after Donald Trump arrived in Paris and immediately criticized his host.
As they began their meeting at the Elysee Palace, the U.S. president again called for better burden sharing for the cost of defending Europe.
“We want a strong Europe,” said Trump.
Emmanuel Macron replied: “I do believe we need more European capacities, more European defense.”

Security measures were put in place for US President Donald Trump's visit, in central Paris on Saturday, ahead of Sunday's commemorations of the First World War armistice.
After landing on Friday, Trump joined French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace for talks on Saturday morning.
The presidential motorcade made its way through central Paris amid high security measures, with police deployed around the presidential palace and the US embassy.
French President Emmanuel Macron will host around 60 world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Trump for a ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe on Sunday.
