MODERN PORTLAND APARTMENT TOUR! (DREAM APARTMENT & WHY WE MOVED OUT)
We definitely filmed this very quickly and last minute right before moving out! Please excuse my messy hair and acne prone/stressed skin hahah It’s been a crazy month!! SO I am sorry if this video feels kinda rushed and incomplete!!
I also wanted to mention a couple of reasons why we decided to move out that I didn’t fully explain in the video. Obviously water pressure was the biggest reason and there is also barely any storage at this place which would get frustrating. The new place we found has a lot more storage, is almost double in size and about the same price in rent so it just really made sense overall.
I really wanted to share this apartment with you all since it’s been my favorite apartment so far and so many of you seemed to love it as well. It will be up for rent soon I am assuming so to make this fair, the link to the place should be here soon:
Let me know if there is any furniture you want me to link! But some of the main things are here:
Couch: Kardiel Modern
(I think our particular color is sold out)
Clothing Rack: I bought mine on amazon but the exact one is sold out! Similar one here:
Entertainment Stand: Sold out?
Record stand: Vintage
Desk: Vintage

Operation Frequent Wind
Operation Frequent Wind was the final phase in the evacuation of American civilians and at-risk Vietnamese from Saigon, South Vietnam prior to the takeover of the city by the North Vietnamese Army (PAVN) in the Fall of Saigon. It was carried out on 29–30 April 1975, during the last days of the Vietnam War. More than 7,000 people were evacuated by helicopter from various points in Saigon. The airlift resulted in a number of enduring images.
Evacuation plans already existed as a standard procedure for American embassies. At the beginning of March, fixed-wing aircraft began evacuating civilians from Tan Son Nhut Airport through neighboring countries. By mid-April, contingency plans were in place and preparations were underway for a possible helicopter evacuation. As the imminent collapse of Saigon became evident, Task Force 76 (TF76) was assembled off the coast near Vung Tau to support a helicopter evacuation and provide air support if required. In the event, air support was not needed as the North Vietnamese paused for a week at the outskirts of Saigon, possibly waiting for the South Vietnamese government to collapse and avoiding a possible confrontation with the U.S. by allowing the mostly-unopposed evacuation of Americans from Saigon.
