Luther and the Protestant Reformation: Crash Course World History #218
In which John Green teaches you about the Protestant Reformation. Prior to the Protestant Reformation, pretty much everyone in Europe was a Roman Catholic. Not to get all great man, but Martin Luther changed all that. Martin Luther didn't like the corruption he saw in the church, especially the sale of indulgences, so he left the church and started his own. And it caught on! And it really did kind of change the world. The changes increased literacy and education, and some even say the Protestant Reformation was the beginning of Capitalism in Europe.

Cambodia Church Planter
Church Planter Samuel Nuon and his wife, Chamroeun, fled from their home in Cambodia in the mid-seventies. They lived in a refugee camp under difficult conditions and small quantities of food but it was there that they heard the gospel of Jesus Christ, where they gave their lives to Him and were baptized. What Satan intended to be harmful, like Joseph in the Bible, ...God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
Samuel Nuon pastors First Cambodian Baptist Church of Maryland, a house church in Frederick where about 15 to 20 people gather monthly to sing pray and hear Nuon's message.
The Nuons are featured as part of Gather 2 Scatter, the 2013 State Missions Offering of the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware.

Amsterdam coffeeshop - The ultimate map I made
I wanted to make a fully comprehensive map of Amsterdam that details all attractions and points of interest together with plotting where every coffeeshop is located along with brown bars, etc. I used software called Flash to make the map which can be printed and hung on a wall or the file can be used on smartphones for free roaming access. Please note - I did not make this map for distribution or profit, it was a simple personal project I wanted to hang on my wall and use on my smartphone. I designed and made the entire map PDF/App/JPEG.
The map is currently off line and unavailable, but I might post it again when I can be bothered, but I probably won't.......

pipe organ, 1921 Tellers-Kent Opus 171
1921 Tellers-Kent Opus 171
(Only real pipes are being played. No digital sounds) This recording was made using a Roland EDIROL R-09HR hand-held recorder with internal mics. The recorder was located approx 1/2 a block from the organ and the mics were set at 39% so the organ wouldn't overload them. For some reason the Pedal 16' Principal is too much for the recorder to handle so a small registration was used in the Pedal division.
