Visiting Phom Penh in February 2010 the driver took me to the hotel. Actually he had another appointment but was late (10 min). The clients did not wait. ... My last sentence: Germans don't have time. Even in Cambodia.

Cambodia - Siem Reap, Ankor Wat, Koh Rong Samleon, Phnom Penh
We heard mixed reviews about Cambodia and some of the things that happened there. But nothing could prepare us for what we were going to see and hear especially when we arrived in Phnom Penh.
First stop we flew into Siam Reap and the number one thing to do here is to see the temples. So we jumped in a tuk tuk and did a tour around Angkor Wat and a few others. It gets hot real quick here and you can only do so may hours walking around temples in the heat, so we called it just after lunch and retired to our hotel.
Later on we checked out a place called bar street which is pretty much a crazy busy street full of bars, restaurants, clubs and bars. Hold your wallets and phone tight or keep them in your pocket as it quite common to get robbed around these areas. It great if you want to party or just sit back grab a cold one and watch the circus unfold in front of you.
Next stop we headed the furtherest south we could go. All the way to Koh Rong Samleon Island, which is not to be confused with Koh Rong Island, famous for parties and food poisoning. Koh Rong is what I've heard a little bit quieter and relaxed. We still found there was enough happening there to keep us entertained for a few days. Especially as it landed on the full moon party there. We ended up buying tickets and headed to it that night, it was interesting to say the least, probably not your typical full moon party as it was held in the jungle with only around 100 people dancing away to shitty techno.
Next stop we jumped on a bus to Phnom Penh. As i said earlier it was meant to be a pretty full on experience as its where a lot of the genocide happened taking the lives of over 3 million innocent people and affecting millions more. Theres a lot to say about this but you're better off having a look yourself to see the pain and suffering the Cambodians went though under this evil mans regime.
I decided to to film in Phnom Penh or more so was in shock and sadness to even bother taking out my camera.
Despite all this, in general the people are incredible and very friendly. Just don't get to upset with all the hassles you will get from tuk tuk drivers, be patient.

Cambodia travel on TUK TUK from Phnom Penh to countryside | Traffic Jam on the Way to Airport
My family always take a TUK TUK to anywhere around town or even go to province about 45 kilometres from Phnom Penh. It is fun and relax. For traveling in Phnom Penh, the price is from $2.00 to $5. If we go to province from morning til late afternoon or evening it cost $20. Well, supposed if we have a car and go for 45 kilometres and back 45 kilometres, we will spend more than $20 for gasoline and other care services. So TUK TUK is the best choice. Right in this video, we take a TUK TUK to province and traffic is really bad on Russian Blvd., til Phnom Penh International airport. But after we passed the Chom_Chao round-a-bout the traffic is good.

Cambodia Riding in a Tuk Tuk in Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh to Battam Bong, Cambodia trip.
If you’re looking for a bit of comfort during your trip, then a private taxi is your best option. The journey will take approximately 6 hours in total and there is some absolutely stunning scenery along the way. Watch this video to see some of the beautiful Cambodian country side you’ll pass during your taxi drive On average a private taxi from Phnom Penh to Battambang will cost in the region of $75 (that’s usually the quote from Phnom Penh airport to Battambang). You’ll have the option of stopping for toilet breaks, coffees, and even sightseeing if you wish.
The better services offer nice comfortable cars (e.g. a Lexus 4 x 4) and the drivers will pick you up from your hotel, the airport, or any other location convenient for you.
One thing that we recommend however is to book your taxi in advance. Not only is it cheaper, but Cambodian traffic is very hectic, so the taxi rides can be daunting and frightening if you don’t know your driver

Today we show you to the Win Win Memorial.
The place at there so beautiful. has tank and boat for war
Opposition leader Sam Rainsy has slammed the capital’s newly inaugurated Win-Win Monument, claiming it represents Prime Minister Hun Sen’s “treason”, while Minister of National Defence Tea Banh said it celebrated the premier as a “symbol of national unity”.
The $12 million memorial to commemorate Hun Sen’s “Win-Win” policy that brought armed remnants of the Khmer Rouge into the government and brought an end to decades of civil war was inaugurated over the weekend.
The spectacular three-day opening ceremony, which concluded on Monday, was attended by around 1.1 million people.
Rainsy, the acting president of the Supreme Court-dissolved Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), said on Radio Free Asia on Friday that the Win-Win monument symbolises Hun Sen’s treason. He accused the prime minister of giving Cambodia’s Koh Tral (Phu Quoc) island to Vietnam.
He also accused Hun Sen of serving foreign interests by allowing Chinese people to live in Cambodia and cause problems to local people and the environment.
“So change the name of the monument to the ‘monument symbolising the treason of Hun Sen who destroys the nation’,” he said.
However, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Tea Banh said the Win-Win Monument represented national identity and celebrated Prime Minister Hun Sen as a symbol of national unification.
“Hun Sen is a smart leader and a symbol of national unity. He has developed our country quickly. The Win-Win Monument will become a memorial representing national identity and expressing national culture,” he said.
“The Win-Win Monument is a representation of the policy that has made our country peaceful for 20 years.
“Cambodian people remember and are grateful towards [Hun Sen’s] tremendous sacrifice. In fact, national unification and territorial unity are the achievements of the prime minister.”
Adding to Rainsy’s comments, some Facebook users also criticised the memorial, dubbing it the “Yuon Win Monument”, which in Khmer means the “Vietnam win monument”.
The word yuon is a pejorative term with which some Cambodians refer to the Vietnamese.
Even before the monument’s inauguration began on Saturday, some Facebook users were calling the monument a symbol of Vietnamese victory in invading and taking Cambodian territory during the fight against the Khmer Rouge.
A Facebook user named Niv Chamroeun II questioned the “win” in the monument’s name.
He pointed out that it was designed in a form similar to the Cambodia-Vietnam friendship memorials built in all 24 provinces across Cambodia and the capital. Phnom Penh’s is erected in Wat Botum park.
Niv Chamroeun II claimed the Win-Win Monument was built to make Cambodians remember Vietnamese assistance in the overthrow of the Khmer Rouge and as such was a symbol of neo-colonialism.
“Cambodians now have nothing – no art, no culture of their own, besides holding elections planted by yuon, who are the symbol of communism,” he wrote.
Another Facebook user, Khmer Sorin, posted a picture of the Win-Win monument and dubbed it the “Yuon Win” monument.
He alleged that the government did not care about its own people but those who had invaded Cambodian territory and taken Koh Tral island. “What else do you want to be taken away?” he asked.
