Urban lightning show Krasnoyarsk: the Heart of Siberia
In 2019 we continued to transform the urban environment in Krasnoyarsk and created the second stationary lightning show The Heart of Siberia at the architectural complex on the junction of Yenisei river, which includes the 550 meters long Vinogradovsky pedestrian cable-stayed bridge, as well as the Museum Center Square of the World (the largest exhibition platform of contemporary art in Siberia) and the Bolshoi concert hall of the Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic. Besides we programmed the dynamic illumination system of the whole somplex again.
This time the plot of the show was based on genius loci of the city and symbolically reflected its sightseeings and unique features. Unfortunately we could not display clear images on the architectural objects (except media facades) because of the physical limitations of the working surfaces. That is why we create a concept of the show using maxims of emotional design with the associative color and shape row, which contained symbols of Krasnoyarsk, such as The Yenisei, Krasny Yar, Krasnoyarsk Pillars etc.
The show was 8 minutes long. It was supported by original visual row, which integrated color-dynamic solutions, spectacular visual moves and optical illusions, the drama of the presentation enhanced with the original sound accompaniment.

Siberian city unveils statue of Lenin in style of computer game Minecraft
(28 Nov 2017) The Russian city of Krasnoyarsk has a new monument - a statue of Vladimir Lenin in the style of the computer game Minecraft.
The two-meter-high monument made of cardboard was erected by artists Aleksander Zakirov and Ivan Tuzov from the group City Stories.
It's displayed in front of the Krasnoyarsk Museum in Siberia which hosts many Lenin exhibits.
The cardboard statue of Lenin imitates monuments of him found in many other Russian cities - a towering Lenin atop a pedestal with a raised arm.
However this particular depiction of the most famous Bolshevik has caused outrage among local Communists.
The leader of the Communist Party in Krasnoyarsk called the statue 'a blasphemy' and demanded it be demolished.
To me, such kind of reaction was shocking, said Aleksander Zakirov, one of the Minecraft Lenin creators.
I would never have thought that politicians would care about an art object. It's just a cardboard monument, not a real one.
The cardboard statue won't be on display for much longer. The artists say it will soon be dismantled ahead of the snowy Siberian winter.

Vladimir Putin Student-violinist Moscow State University
Vladimir Putin visited the historical building of Moscow State University at Mokhovaya Street ahead of Russian Students Day.
During his visit to the MSU Museum of Anthropology, the President was shown the veil from the reliquary of St Zosima of Solovki (died on April 17, 1478), a co-founder of the Solovetsky Monastery. The image embroidered in gold thread on gold cloth was found in the museum’s collection in 2017 and subsequently restored at the Grabar Art Conservation Centre. According to the centre’s experts, the veil was manufactured at the turn of the 19th century. A similar veil of St Zosima made in 1661 is kept in the collection of the State Russian Museum in St Petersburg.
Vladimir Putin also met with MSU students, who showed him their designs for a digital culture and education centre for students and for the National Student Theatre Festival. They also told the President about the LANAT School Research Laboratory, which aims to encourage talented children to get involved in research projects.

Pollusion somewhere on the railway line between Irkutsk and Krasnojarsk, autumn 2018
Pollusion is - like in many other countries - a big problem Russia. In this particular case, maybe the chimneys are part of a coal-fired power station, but this is only a guess. JUDITH RATHLEGER - MARIO MAURONER CONTEMPORARY ART VIENNA - ZONA MACO | DCHIC
Mario Mauroner Contemporary Art SALZBURG was founded in 1972 by Mario & Waltraud Mauroner (at the time the gallery was still named Galerie Academia).
After 30 years of international experience and realization of more than 400 exhibitions and participation in international art fairs, e.g. ARCO, BASEL, BRUSSELS, COLOGNE, DUBAI, FIAC -- in 2004 -- an additional 1000sqm exhibition space on two levels was opened in Vienna, offering spectacular room for the presentation of large-scale sculpture -- one of the main focuses of the gallery. Building a second point of interest, the gallery's program is also dedicated to a range of outstanding and international contemporary artists especially from the Mediterranean area, whose common ground is a steady progression of their respective creative work, developed independently of current trends. Aside from the Ground Floor and Basement galleries, the newest edition of Mario Mauroner Contemporary Art VIENNA is our roomnumberOne, which is exclusively dedicated to young emerging artists.
