Exotic Feline Rescue Center (near Terre Haute, Ind.)
One of several videos I took during a tour yesterday of this fabulous place, where some 200 tigers, lions and other exotic cats are finally finding a loving home, having been rescued from often cruel lives at the hands of small-time circuses, drug dealers, Mafia moguls and well-intentioned owners who ultimately just could not take care of them.
I was astounded to learn that breeding and owning such cats is legal in many Midwestern states, such as Ohio and Indiana, which enables profitable breeding businesses that leads to inevitable cruelty or abandonment as cute and cuddly cubs grow into large and powerful adults.
Brief history:

And, we have the latest headlines from across the state Friday at 6 p.m. on Indiana Newsdesk.

If This Was A Breeder
If this was a breeder, they would have several violations according to the USDA or local State inspectors. However this is a Animal Shelter. A unregulated source for dogs and cats. Regulation should be the same for Breeders,Pet Stores, Shelters, Rescues and anyone else who houses dogs or cats.
