Exploratorium: The Museum of Science in San Francisco
In this video, we are at the Exploratorium, a children’s museum in San Francisco, CA located in the Embarcadero near Pier 15. The Exploratorium has a lot of hands on activities for kids, focusing on science, art, and perception. They allow kids to learn and explore different exhibits involving physics, lights, illusions, magnets, and electricity. For instance, in one station, my daughter used different objects to create shadows on the wall. Mirrors created illusions with light. There were stations where my daughter could build objects, play with magnets, or even create her own movies with stop motion photography. My family and I really enjoyed our visit. Visiting the Exploratorium in San Francisco, CA
The Exploratorium in San Francisco is a MUST DO for all ages.
You will feel all the magic of the world in the palm of your hand.
I recommend budgeting 2-3 hours for your visit. They have a cafe there too, in case you end up spending too much time exploring and get hungry. :)

Exploratorium San Francisco, CA
This place has a lot to see so you need to get there early. It's designed for all ages and is fun for the learning mind. Whether you're a bright minded child or an engineer beating his brains trying to solve a problem and looking for ideas, this is a fun place to learn science provided you get there early enough like I didn't.

A visit to the new Exploratorium located at Pier 15 in San Francisco. This new building opened recently in 2013. Personally, I prefer the 'old' Exploratorium building as opposed to the new one, but you can be the judge on that.

Exploratorium at Pier 15 in San Francisco
The Exploratorium's new location at Pier is 15 is fabulous. Wow view of the bridge and bay, relatively easy to navigate to, plenty of parking and lots of other fun activities nearby. They did a splendid job with the building and the move. It has all the same displays and activities that we know and love plus many new ones. Such a great way to spend time with the kids and family. WELL DONE!
