Designed by Grant Associates as masterplanners of the multi award-winning 54-hectare Bay South Garden, the underlying concept of Gardens by the Bay are the principles of environmental sustainability, bringing to life the National Parks Board Singapore's vision of creating a City in a Garden. Opened in 2012, the project has been acclaimed worldwide for its remarkable blend of nature, technology, environmental management and imagination, and is a showcase of horticulture and garden artistry that brings the world of plants to Singapore and presents Singapore to the World.
Situated along the waterfront, the Gardens by the Bay Far East Organization Children’s Garden was completed in 2015, also designed by Grant Associates along with Gardens by the Bay landscape consultants. The one-hectare mix of play area offers experiences for all ages, including water play, rainforest tree houses, ridge top adventure trails, topiary pergola arches, and the Shade and Outdoor Amphitheatre - all in a special garden setting overlooking the Marina Reservoir. Covering various rooftops here are several greenroofs with a variety of tropical plants. The lush greenery which spans across the Garden’s roofs is enabled by the Elmich Lightweight Green Roof System. This system incorporates a revolutionary new medium, EnviroMix® PB, which was combined with a regular soil layer on top to form an ultra-lightweight growing media for plants. Andrew Grant, director, of Grant Associates says, “The Far East Organization Children’s Garden at Gardens by the Bay creates play opportunities that are not found elsewhere in Singapore that connect children to nature via technology, art and horticulture.” The Children’s Garden is just one part of the spectacular Gardens by the Bay, created as a beautiful, sustainable, and green legacy for future generations to enjoy.

Jacob Ballas Children's Garden @ Singapore Botanic Gardens
The Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden is the first garden in Asia dedicated to children. Its theme of ‘Life on Earth Depends on Plants’ aims to educate and instil a love for nature in children. The Garden is a complete nature-learning environment, where children can delve deeper into the ecology of plants and our environment through discovery and experiential learning.
The Garden offers children a space for exploration, adventure and play, with a farm, an orchard, and a forest with its own stream and ponds. Young adventure seekers can explore the suspension bridge and nature play areas; budding naturalists can walk along the stream and climb into the tree-houses; and our urban gardeners can observe how plants grow and pick up some gardening tips! Be an ‘Adventurer’, ‘Gardener’ or ‘Naturalist’ for a day at the Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden by following these carefully curated trails.

Opening hours: 8.00am to 7.00pm (last admission at 6.30pm). Closed on Mondays (except when Monday falls on a designated public holiday)
Admission: Free admission. Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden is designed for children aged 14 and below. Children aged 12 and below must be accompanied by an adult. To promote a safe environment for children, adults are permitted entry only if accompanying a child. Adult visitors without children must consult the Service Desk for entry.

Prepare ya bawa baju ganti / handuk , pakai baju renang juga boleh

Peraturan nya cuma ga boleh pakai sandal di area air mancur , kalau lupa pas lagi jaga anak sambil jalan gitu , pasti langsung di-priwit-in macam dapet kartu merah hahahhaha

Hi! I'm Nicole. My sister and I are at Children's Garden at Gardens By the Bay. It's a big playground. It' free and it's fun too!
Children's Garden at Gardens By the Bay has 3 main areas: Toddler play area, Tree houses for older children, Water play area
I love the obstacle challenges at the Tree houses and the wobbly suspending bridge. It is like a jungle adventure!
There are also metal looking slides. And a small area for sand play.
It's a super sunny today but we had fun at Children's Garden at Gardens By the Bay.

Local children share the fun, joy and wonder of the Far East Organization Children's Garden at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, designed by landscape architects, Grant Associates.
A major new feature of the 54 hectare Bay South Garden, the Far East Organization Children's Garden opened in January 2014, offering a one-hectare mix of play experiences for all ages, including water play, rainforest tree houses, ridge top trails and topiary pergola arches all in a special garden setting overlooking the Marina Reservoir.
The Far East Organization's Children's Garden connects children to nature via technology, art and horticulture, says Andrew Grant, director of Grant Associates.
