YOUR DREAM ABODE
The Philippine Islands may look like specks in the map of the world. But like Hawaii, it is widely known for its tropical splendor. Those who had set foot at its pristine beaches felt rejuvenated and wanted to stay for good.
The Philippine Islands is composed of more than 7,100 islands and islets spread between the Pacific Ocean on the east and the South China Sea on the west. This unique geographical location and natural structure of the Philippine Islands make it a dream abode.
Nearby on the north are enigmatic places like China, Macau, and Hongkong, and on the South, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
Among its magnificent islands, the most famous worldwide are the Boracay Island and the Hundred Islands, both major tourist destinations.
Twenty miles south of the Hundred Islands is an islet, popularly known among the locales as Payong-Payong, a local name descriptive of its umbrella-like shape. It lies within the vast enclave of Dasol Bay. It has an aggregate area of two thousand [2000] square meters, more or less, facing the South China Sea. It is approximately 15 feet above sea level, surrounded by trees of different species which make an awesome natural landscape. In the northeastern part of the isle stands a 2 storey residential building decorated with special stones gathered from a deposit about a quarter of a mile off shore visible only during the lowest tide. It has 5 rooms of standard sizes, 3 on the second floor with 3 toilet/baths. In the heart of the isle is a mini plaza with stage that can comfortably accommodate more than 100 guests with a floor area of about 500 square meters and on the southernmost end, a spa measuring about 120 square meters. Picturesque sunrise and sunset are sights to behold each day from the islet.
The islet is accessible by foot during high tide through a concrete dike measuring two meters high and a meter wide connecting it to the mainland and also accessible to any type of vehicle during low tide. It is about seventy [70] meters away from the mainland, no more than 300 meters away from the national highway and about three (3) miles away from the town proper of the Municipaltiy of Infanta, Province of Pangasinan, Island of Luzon, Philippine Islands, bordering the provinces of Zambales and Pangasinan, located in Barangay Atel-Batang. It is about 5 hours drive away from Manila, Philippines.
Mangroves abound in the area where migratory birds gather during wintertime in Europe. Nearby is a river outlet. English is one of two national languages used in the area and recognized by law. The other is Filipino.
Not far from the islet are four (4) big islands, most notable are the Miss Universe Island and the Dos Hermanas Island about 15 miles away. The nearest, the Balaki Island, is about 5 miles away.
It is worthy of note that the Philippine Islands is the only Christian country in Asia.
Its surroundings are ideal for snorkeling, jet skiing, scuba diving, wind surfing and a host of water sports.
Global communication, (landline and wireless) and internet facilities are available. There are existing electric and water facilities in the islet.
If you are looking for an exclusive place where you can lavishly commune with nature and experience physical and spiritual rejuvenation, consider the islet Payong-Payong. You can own it for US $400,000.00 or lease it, whichever suits you. If you need more space, you can also buy a 2 hectare thickly forested lot adjacent to the islet for only US$ 200,000.00 or lease it also. Indeed, an irresistible offer.
